KDDI,which is providing the au-brand cellular phone services, plans to coopearte with Sony in developing the music-downloaded-and-playing cellular phone handset.The move is a tie-up strategy of this two companies' groups for making mobile phone handsets more versitile than ever.Meanwhile,Softbank,which opeartes the Vodaphone-brand cellular phone services, has already started coopearting with Apple Computer in the U.S. in developing such a music-playnig handset and with Yahoo in search function from the mobile handset in the Internet.Like this,the two groups are vying for getting more share in the market.
