私は社会学者ではありませんので

時代を定義する事はできませんが

自分の中では自分が生きて来た時代

これはしっかり定義づけが出来ています。

そしてその定義づけによって

私は本当に貴重な時代を体験できたのだと気づきました。

私が自分の人生を振り返り思う事は

大きな変化の時代に生きた

って事です。

私は戦争が終わって１１年経って生まれましたが

子供の頃は

周りは戦前の日本の教育を受けた人ばかりでしたし

学校にもそんな先生方がたくさんいました。

ですから

天皇主権の日本

その影響が大きく残ってた時代

これを体験する事ができたのです。

それと沖縄と言う特殊な地域で

アメリカ占領下の中で中学まで生きてきました。

それから今の時代まで

人類史上初めてと言えるような

大きな変化を経験できた

私が貴重な時代だったと言うのはその事です。

ではこの変化

どうして起こったのでしょうか？

まぁ科学技術の進歩

これが大きいですね

生産効率が上がり

とにかく急速に豊かになりました。

私が幼少期の沖縄は

電気も水道も無く

食事は薪で作ってましたので

多分縄文時代と大差無かったと思います。

それが今はもう車の自動運転まで来てる訳ですからね

すざましい変化です。

大変な恩恵を感じますが

ただ社会と言うのは豊かになったから

それで問題が解決する訳ではありません

豊かな社会になれば

それに合わせて人間の意識も修正しないと

社会は上手く回らなくなります。

そしてその修正過程では

変化への対応が遅れると

たくさんの人間が否定され

時には刑事事件になったりしながら進行して行きます。

そうやって時代認識すれば

その混乱の影響を自分自身は最小限に抑える事ができる

私はそんな考えです。

ではその時代の変化

どうやって読み取れば良いのでしょうか？

それは言葉です

言葉が出来れば

それによって社会は大きく修正されます。

最近で言えば

ブラック企業から始まり

パワハラ、セクハラ

そんな言葉が立て続けに出て来て

企業の意識は大きく変化しました。

直近ではカスハラですね。

この言葉によって

長年日本のビジネスを支配してきた

顧客第一主義

これが修正されるようになりました

この修正作業は始まったばかりですから

まだしばらく時間がかかりますが

いずれにしても

脅迫まがいで怒鳴り散らかす顧客は

もう顧客では無く犯罪者

企業内ではそんな意識変化が起こります。

そして最近目にした言葉で

これも社会変化につながるのだと思うのが

マンスプレイニングです。

これ

私達男性は早めに理解して対策を始めた方が良い

って思いますね。

その意味

知らない人が多いと思いますので説明すると

男性の潜在意識の話です

男性は潜在意識の中で女性は劣ってる

そう思ってるそうです。

そしてそれが

色んな場所で出て来る

って事です。

まぁ女性の地位が上がりましたから

怒鳴り散らかすとかそんなケースの話ではありません

一見女性を尊重してるように見えて

実はそうではない

これが分かる行為が今は野放しで蔓延してるって話です。

どんな行為かと言えば

女性に対してやたら教えたがる

って事です。

つまり求めても無いのに

女性が理解してない

そんな潜在意識から

必要以上に説明する

って話です。

少し分かりにくいですね

これ

ゴルフをやってる人は思い当たる人

たくさんいると思います。

ゴルフには教え魔

って言葉がありますが

このターゲットになるのは女性が多い

私が散々目にして来て確信してる事です。

特にカップルの間で多いですね

私から見れば技術的には大差ないのに

女性に対してプレーに悪影響を及ぼす位に

一日中ああだこうだと言う男性

本当に良く見かけます。

まあ本人は問題が無いと思ってそうしてる訳で

悪気はありませんが

ただこの行為が

女性蔑視の潜在意識の表れ

そんな認識になる

これがこのマンスプレイニングの言葉によって

浸透していく訳です。

教え魔の皆さん達

気を付けましょうね。

教えた段階で

女性を見下してる

って言われますよ。

Because I'm not a sociologist, so I can't define the era, 

but I have a clear definition of the era I've lived through. 

And because of that definition,

 I realized that I was able to experience a truly valuable era. 

Looking back on my life, I think that I lived in an era of great change.

 I was born 11 years after the war ended, 

and as a child, everyone around me was educated in prewar Japan, 

and there were many teachers like that at school. 

So I was able to experience an era when the influence of the Emperor's sovereignty was still very strong in Japan. 

I also lived until junior high school in a unique region called Okinawa under American occupation. 

From then until now, 

I was able to experience the first major change in human history, and that's why I say that my era was a valuable one. 

So why did this change happen? 

Well, the progress of science and technology was a big factor. 

Productivity increased, and we quickly became wealthy. 

When I was a child in Okinawa, there was no electricity or running water, and we cooked our meals with firewood, 

so I think it was probably not much different from the Jomon period. 

Now we have self-driving cars, so it's a tremendous change.

I feel that it's a great blessing, 

but just because society has become rich doesn't mean that all the problems will be solved.

If society becomes rich,

people's consciousness must also be adjusted accordingly, or society will not function properly.

And in the process of adjustment,

if we are slow to adapt to the changes,

many people will be rejected, and sometimes even criminal cases will result.

I believe that if we recognize the times in this way,

we can minimize the impact of that confusion ourselves.

So how do we interpret the changes of the times?

It's through words.

If we can create words,

society can be greatly adjusted.

Recently,

starting with black companies,

words like power harassment and sexual harassment have appeared one after another,

and corporate consciousness has changed dramatically.

Most recently, it's customer harassment.

This word has led to a correction of the customer-first mentality that has dominated Japanese business for many years. 

This correction has only just begun, so it will take some time, 

but in any case, customers who yell in a threatening manner are no longer customers, but criminals, 

and this change in attitude is occurring within companies.

 And a word I've seen recently that I think will also lead to social change is mansplaining. 

I think it's something that we men should understand and start taking measures against as soon as possible. 

I think many people don't know what it means, so let me explain it to you. 

It's about men's subconscious. 

It seems that men subconsciously believe that women are inferior. 

And this comes out in various places. 

Well, women's status has risen, so I'm not talking about cases like yelling.

 It's about behavior that shows that they may seem to respect women at first glance, but actually they don't, 

and it's now rampant . 

What kind of behavior is it? 

They want to teach women too much. 

In other words, they explain more than necessary 

because they think women can not understand well 

which is due to their subconscious.

 It's a little hard to understand, 

but I'm sure many golfers can relate to this. 

There's a term in golf called "osiema," and I've seen it a lot and I'm sure it's victims are mostly women 

It's especially common among couples. I see a lot of men who talk about women all day long, to the point that it has a negative impact on their play, even though from my perspective there's not much difference in technique. 

Well, they don't think it`s  any harm and don't think there's a problem, 

but this behavior is a subconscious expression of misogyny, 

and it's this perception that permeates through the word mansplaining. 

All you osiema out there, 

be careful. 

You'll be accused of looking down on women when you start teaching them.
