７棟まとめて訴えていた欠陥住宅事件と不当解雇だとして申し立てていた仮処分事件の２つが本日、正式に和解！めでたい。

欠陥住宅事件は、最近、本当に多いため、東京地方裁判所には、欠陥住宅を専門医取り扱う裁判体（３人一組。東京では４人ずつで「部」として構成されている）が２つもあるほど。一生に一度の買い物であり、いったん、被害に遭ったら、精神的にも非常に大きな負担を被ることになるだけに、専門部を置いて事件を処理する裁判所の姿勢はありがたい。

ついでに労働事件の方は、昔から専門部があります。こちらも、被害の深刻さと専門性に鑑みて専門部を設置したのでしょうね。

自己責任…この言葉の意味は？

イラクでの日本人拘束事件を機にまた、「自己責任」という言葉が飛び交いそうだ。しかし、元来、「自己責任の原則」というのは、「他人の行為の責任までは負わない」という意味で、責任の範囲を限定するための近代法の基本原則のことです。

ところが、いま、「自分がやったことは自分で責任をとれ。助ける必要なし」というように使われている。

それって、「自業自得」っていうんじゃない。

今使われている場面で、「自己責任」という用語を全て「自業自得」に置き換えてみよう。すると、軽々しく「自己責任」っていうべきではないという気になるはず。

獄中からの手紙

無罪主張が通らなかった「彼」からの２通目の手紙です。上告を断念しました…

Dear Sir
Thank You for your suggestion and for the visit too.
I thought about what you suggested, it's needless for me to appeal to
the supreme court, because I already know what the outcome will be. As I
previously explained to you, that. They all fined the smallest excuse to
fined me guilty, and non of the judge cared. They even knew that the
police and prosecutor lied, but nothing was done to it.

Sir, I think you can now see the reason, I refused to appeal to the
supreme court, because they won't care whether the police lied or not.

I've put everything in life ahead of me, till I get out of prison. I
know it'll be rough and hard in prison, now I also know it's my destiny.
And I thank you for all you've done for me and your concern I will over
come it.

Nobody knows tomorrow. Tomorrow is always, for better or for worse. I
believe there is a fine tomorrow up there waiting for me. So I will let
it rest there, I hope you'll understand my feelings-no time.

Bless you Sir, I really appreciate your cooperation. Justice needs the
evidence of all crimes, and as charge, isn't it Sir？
