Almost 2 in 5 (38.7%) told of verbal harassment

Almost 1 in 6 (16.6%) said they experienced racial, religious or ethnic discrimination at work or while seeking a job
Sikhs under 35 were verbally harassed almost twice as often as others surveyed
Eighty percent of Jewish respondents said they were "very" or "somewhat" bothered by anti-Semitic vandalism or property damage
In one example cited by the commission, Souad Kirama, a Muslim, said she was physically assaulted at a Brooklyn restaurant last year by "hate-filled teenage girls" who called her a terrorist.
"People were just standing there watching me being beaten up and being called a (expletive) terrorist," she said at a press conference. "Never in my life have I seen this kind of violence and aggressiveness."
The commission said more than 70% of the respondents did not report the alleged incidents to police or anyone else because:
They didn't think they'd be taken seriously
They feared retaliation
Reporting earlier trouble hadn't helped

Why is it so crucial to North Korean leadership to “mass-produce nuclear warheads and missiles and speed up their deployment,” as Kim Jong-un announced his government was doing in his New Year’s Day Address earlier this year? Such a program would not be necessary for regime legitimation, or for international military extortion, or even to ensure the regime’s survival: All of those objectives could surely be satisfied with a limited nuclear force. Why then threaten the U.S. homeland?
Severing the U.S.–ROK security alliance is the sine qua non for the North’s grand vision of reunification — and amassing a powerful nuke and missile force is the sine qua non for severing the U.S.–ROK security alliance. In earlier times, when the South was weaker and the North was stronger, other paths might have appeared feasible, including another full-frontal conventional military assault. But today, nukes and missiles look to be the only option.

極端なケースで、大目にみるべき場合があるのは確かであるが、外国人、特に欧米人に対する見栄や体裁を気にしすぎ、無批判に受け入れる精神もおかしいとおもうぞ、おれは。

渋谷ＮＨＫ関連社員切りつけ 容疑で韓国籍の男を逮捕 「無責任な報道をするメディアへのメッセージだ」
東京都渋谷区のＮＨＫ放送センター近くの路上で今月１８日、男性が刃物で切りつけられて首を負傷した事件で、警視庁捜査１課は３０日、事件に関与した疑いが強まったとして、殺人未遂容疑で、韓国籍の住所・職業不詳、李宰弦（リ・ジェヒョン）容疑者（４６）を逮捕した。調べに対し、黙秘している。
逮捕容疑は１８日午後９時半ごろ、同センターを出た映像制作関連の男性会社員（４８）の首に、いきなり刃物で切りつけて殺害しようとしたとしている。男性は首を１５センチ切る大けがを負った。
李容疑者は１９日に「自分がやった」と渋谷署に出頭。当初、「無責任な報道をする日本のメディアへのメッセージだ」などと話していたという。警視庁が同日、不法滞在したとして入管難民法違反容疑で逮捕し、捜査していた。
