エンパイアビルダーの車内の色使い

gngoatでは、Walthersのエンパイアビルダー客車のインテリアを何色に塗ったらいいかで盛り上がっています。グレートノーザン鉄道歴史協会ＧＮＲＨＳから、フルカラーのエンパイアビルダーのブローシャーの紹介がありました。
まずは、グレートドームです。椅子は、きれいな赤です。なお、グレートドームの窓ガラスは、直射日光を防ぐために、緑系の色が付いています。

(ちょっと脱線）脳内メーカー

3連休ですので、ちょっとやわらかい話題です。テレビで話題になっている「脳内メーカー」です。名前を入力すると、その人の頭の中を漢字で表してくれます。名前を入力するだけですので、簡単に楽しめます。ちなみに、小生のハンドルネームを入力したら、上のようになりました。ちょっと嬉しいですね。ちなみに、本名では・・・。

ＯｒｅＲａｉｌからきれいな写真が届きました。東京では、まだ夏のような暑い日もありますが、アメリカ（ミネソタ州プロクター周辺）は、すっかり秋色で、紅葉もきれいです。

軽便鉄道模型祭

　昨日は、第3回軽便鉄道模型祭に行ってきました。すごい人出で、ナローの人気も高いことが実感されました。
　メーカーのブースも色々なものがあって興味深かったのですが、木曾モジュール倶楽部、軽便モジュール倶楽部の質の高さには、いつもながらに感動します。特に、軽便モジュール倶楽部で、沼尻の単端のあの小さな車体に車載カメラを載せて運転されていたのが興味を引きました（写真）。車載カメラから見た景色が本当に実感的で、モジュールの質の高さにもう一度感動です。また、ＤＣＣを活用して、続行運転で前の列車の画像を撮ることもできるところも素敵でした。
　メーカーでは、エコーモデルのアクセサリー類や、軽便祭記念製品（油類倉庫）が目を引きました。モデルス・シマのＯｎ３０車両販売にも惹かれたのですが、今回は我慢です。

ＤＭＩＲの展望車

　昨日の続きです。ＳＯＯの蒸気機関車の牽く列車の最後を飾るのが、ＤＭＩＲの展望車Ｎｏｒｔｈｌａｎｄです。こんな客車も保存されていて、しかも走らせて、乗って楽しむこともできるなんて、いいですよねぇ。
　写真では、マーカーライトがよく分かります。

Soo Lineの蒸機とＧＮの客車

　ご無沙汰してしまいました。

　ＯｒｅＲａｉｌから、動態保存蒸気機関車の運転の写真が大量に届きました。場所は、ミネソタ州ツーハーバー付近です。
　牽引機は、Ｓｏｏ　ＬｉｎｅのパシフィックＮｏ．２７１９。牽かれているのが、エンパイアビルダー塗装の客車たちです。一番後ろは、ＤＭＩＲの展望車、Ｎｏｒｔｈｌａｎｄです。
　こんな編成を今も走らせられるなんて、やっぱりアメリカはうらやましいですねぇ。
