Gngoatでの話題です。Walthersのエンパイアビルダー客車を長編製（10両以上）で運転すると、カプラーが自然開放してしまうことに対する対策です。まずは、カプラーを金属製のケーディーに交換することが薦められています。連結幌との干渉を避けるために、No.118か119が良いようです。なお、カプラー高さの調整に、あっと驚く方法も投稿されました。英文ですが、転載します。
If you take off the trucks you will notice 4 screws on the top of the truck that allow electrical pickup for the lighting kit. If you loosen the screws a 1/4 turn (do all four) it will raise the car body up to help match the coupler height. I have a complete 1956 Summer consist (all 15 cars and ABBA set of F7's) and have had to adjust a few of the cars.
