B・A役にランペイジを起用したのは大正解だ。


To me that's 70 percent of the movie.


僕にとっては、それが本作の70％を占めているよ。


I really do think like they hit a homerun.


真面目な話、これだけでヒットが70％保障されたと言ってもいい。


70 percent of the movie is done, like in the can, success.



The other 30 is the rest of everything else, but casting of B.A. Baracus,


残りの30％が他の要素だね。


if you go wrong with that, the movie does not work,


B・A役のキャスティングで間違いが起きた時点で、もうこの映画はうまくいかなくなる。


just because Mr. T is so iconic and Rampage is the perfect person.


ミスターＴは、それだけこの映画の「顔」だからね。そしてランペイジこそ、この役にうってつけの人材だよ。


Because first of all he doesn't have to act tough, he is tough.


第一に、彼はタフさを演じる必要がない。


So that's nothing he has to play and


彼自身がタフな男だから、演技する必要がないよね。


because of that he's got room to just do so many other things as opposed to another actor who may try to embody a tough guy rather than it's just in his DNA.


他の俳優のように、「生まれながらのタフな男」を演じる必要がない分、彼にはもっと他のことをいろいろとやる余裕があるんだ。

“in one's DNA” ： 「（人）の性格」

“I can't help it, it's in my DNA!”
「しょうがないよ、そういう性格なんだから！」
