In Japanese Kanji it is shown like the above and pronounced 'horo'.
I got the post card and learned it at Tohaku Museum theater.
The card originates from Rakucyu Rakugai Zu, and one samurai is shown carring a mother's clothings on his back as a weapon .
He has a rope attached to the top part of Horo , which is open wide like a big circular pan , who is ready to protect arrows now.
I remembered a local folk festival of Horo. A young head son of a family is specially selected to go on walking performance for the occasion.
The relatives come togather and celebrate him as a carrier of Horo with a heavy stone , he is a hero then.
Now I learned the meaning itself 'Horo'.
The movie of Edo Castle was good collaboration with the display of the related items at the main building.
Alive narration starts softly and more familiar than the video recording .
Tohaku is now interesting new items on display such as original drawing documents of Samurai armour , a long scroll of samurai people
on whose head weird insects were sarcastically painted , it is much enjoyable to see and think old itmes remarks nowadays.

why doe it use here as a toilet wall ?
I was cleaning floor and rememembering here when I had done this long times ago.
A boy is fond of doing at this kind of place for it.
One was almost asleep at night and the other new one payed attention ,maybe in a rainy season.
One aged woman was leaving and walking towards the entrance door with her stick hunged at the counter desk .
The staff understood 'self-esteem for aged person' and treated her as another family ( better sometimes than a real one,) I think.
Exceeding behavior is avoided ,( we catch it at once ), so do aged people but will they express against it?
I was much anxious and could not help praying for her , her listening ability has been lowering , living alone....?
Do not hasten nor make louder voice for safe and better sleep in the case of such people in towns.
No card posessors are more welcomed nicely at counter , I leanred.
What about vending mashines or ATM, railway stations ? They may expect some nice greetings from mashines for sure.
