I love instant noodles, which I think are representative Japanese food cultures.
So I often enjoy them as a snack before work.

Yesterday I happened to find an instant noodle, which brought me back old memories.
The name of it is “AKAGI 中華そば.”

When in an elementary school, I used to eat this noodle for lunch and as a snack.

I don't think it is sold, because I haven't seen it at any shops for ages! So my heart started pounding when I saw the package of it.

On coming in my office, I put the boiling water into it. Then the tantalizing smell was in the air and made my mouth water.

It sure hit the spot and the taste was as good as ever, which reminded me of the good old days!

I'm afraid it might not be appropriate to write about this kind of topic in this blog, but I couldn't help doing so because of something compelling.

私はインスタントラーメンをこよなく愛していますが、インスタントラーメンは日本の食文化を代表するものだと思っています。それで、よく仕事の前におやつとして食べます。

昨日はたまたま、とても懐かしいインスタントラーメンを見つけました。「AKAGI 中華そば」です。

小学校の時は、昼飯やおやつとして、よくこのラーメンを食べました。

もう何年も店頭で見かけたことは無かったので、売られているとは思ってもみませんでした。それで、今日お店でそのパッケージを見かけたときは、心臓がバクバクし始めました。

職場に入るとすぐに熱湯を注ぎました。すると、何とも言えないあの匂いが辺りを包みはじめ、口の中になまつばが出ました。

あの味は変わらないままで、古き良き時代を思い出してしまいました。

本ブログでこのようなトピックについて書くのはどうかと思いましたが、駆り立てる何かがあり、ついつい書いてしまいました。
