先日、CavaliaのOdysseoという馬のショーを観に行きました

テントを建てた一時的な会場なのに

暖房もきいた快適な空間で、大掛かりな舞台装置やライティング

生演奏、予想外の演出で完全な非現実空間が創り上げてありました

馬と人間の信頼関係が素晴らしく、

馬たちの賢く健気な姿に完全に心を打たれてしまいました

プロフェッショナルとしてショーステージに立つまでのトレーニングの間

何度も諦めて、投げ出したくなった事もあるんだろうと想像すると、

何事も諦めずに訓練すれば、成し遂げられるんだ

という勇気と刺激をもらいました

ステージ上のアクター、アクトレス、馬はもちろんの事、裏でショーを支えている

ヘアメイク、馬のお世話をする人達、チケットの販売をしてくれている人達など

すべての人たちに感謝します

Recently I went to watch a show called Odysseo by Cavalia, using real horses.
Even though the tent was set up at a temporary location,
It was a well heated space with lighting.  
Excellent acting, it really was an unexpected production.
 The trust between horse and people were amazing.
I was so touched watching the smartness and gracefulness of the horses. 
Thinking about all the trainning the performers went through to
get to where they are gave me courage and inspired me to work harder myself.
 I am grateful for the actors, actresses, horses, the people working in the back, the people selling the tickets and everyone involved in the production.

KAORU BIRTHDAY !

美砂子さんがバースデイケーキを作ってくれました。

ケーキのベースを焼いてきてくれて

ホイップクリームやデコレーションキットも一緒に持ってきてくれました。

スタッフ皆自分でデコレーションしてみんなで１切れずつ頂きました。

ケーキ作りって楽しいですね！可愛く好きなようにアレンジ出来てとても特別感があり楽しかったです。

Misako made me a birthday cake!
She baked the base at home and brought
whipping cream and a decoration kit to the store 
I decorated the cake myself and we all got a slice each.
Cake decorating is alot of fun!
I felt very special being able to make my own birthday cake. 

バースデイナイトはＢＯＹＦＲＩＥＮＤと

イェールタウンにあるRodney's Oyster Houseにディナーを食べに行きました。

生のカキにシーフードのパスタがとってもおいしー！！！＞＜

 

イケメンのサーバーがワインを１グラスずつサービスしてくれました。

 

みんなに祝ってもらいとても素敵な一日を過ごせました。

For my birthday night, with my boyfriend,
we went to Rodney's Oyster House in Yaletown for dinner.
 Raw oysters with sea food pastas. Sooo good!! 
Our handsom server even gave us a glass of wine each on the house!
It was a perfect day having everyone celebrating my birthday.

Why did you decide to come to Vancouver?

バンクーバーの英語は他と比べて英語の発音がキレイだと聞いていた
のでしっかりとした英語を学べると思ったからです。
I heard that Canadian English is very clean compared to some other countries. 
I thought that I would be able to speak a very clean english.  

バンクーバーの良いところは？
What do you like about Vancouver?

自然に溢れていて人々の心がオープンな所
I like how it is surrounded by nature and the people have such open hearts

What do you find different from working in Japan?

This is Michael from the Davie Branch.

To all our staff from each branch, and to Misako-san,

2013. I look forward to working with you all again im 2014.

The store was closed on the 1st, so Misako brought us some

traditional Japanese New year dishes for us staff on the 2nd.

Look at the qualitity of her creations! Misako's cooking is on a whole nother

level! When ever I'm hungry and in the mood for some good home cooking,

Misako would appear with her uncanny timing.

You really help us out alot.
