RYU - Vancouver Fashion Week

今週１７日から２１日までバンクーバーファッションウィークというイベントが行われます。
バンクーバーファッションウィークでは今年の流行、トレンド、もっともスタイリッシュなファッションが数多く紹介されます。　

様々なデザイナー、アーティスト、ビジネスマンが集るバンクーバーにとってとても重要で大きなイベントです。

そんなイベントに最近日本から来た”カリスマ美容師”ＲＹＵがＭＩＳＡＫＯ’ｓ本店を代表しヘアスタイリングを担当しました。 
カナダに来て数ヶ月なのに、英語がペラペラ？！さわやかな笑顔で楽しく働く！
彼はデイビーストリートにあるMisako's hair studio本店で働いているのでぜひ会いに来て下さい。

From the 17th-21st, Vancouver Fashion week is taking place.
Vancouver fashion week will be showcasing the newest trends for this year.
It is a very important event that shapes the fashion and retail scene of Vancouver. Designers, artists, business man from all around gather for this big event.  

To this event, our own desiner Marco, represented the Main branch.
It has only been a few months since he came to Canada from Japan but he 
can already speak?! He enjoys his work with such a charming smile!
The main branch is on davie st. in Downtown. Please come visit him if you like!

Labour Day

2年ぶりにMisako'sに帰ってきました

9月2日の祝日にさっそく遠出をして、

The Lions Binkert Trailに行ってきました

往復8時間半のハードな道のりで

山頂には壁のような岩をよじ登る感じでした

This is Tatsuya from Beach Hair Studio
I came back to Misako's after 2 years!
On labor day, I headed to The Lions Binkert Trail!!
It took 8 and a half hour there and back.
The road was a pretty tough one too.
At the summit we were practically climbing a rock surface. 

苦労して登った景色は最高ですね
The view after the hard hike was breath taking

Study English！

BeachのKaoruです

最近英語の勉強を本当にしないとヤバイと危機を感じているのですが、

お気に入りのPlaceは“Chapter's”Robsonです

3Fにフリースペースがあって、皆本を読んだり

勉強目的で使用しているので、非常に過ごしやすいです

そして最近英文の本を読もうと購入したのが、

この本『The List Of My Desire』

Recently I am feeling the pressure to study more english.
My favorite palce is CHAPTERS on robson st.
There is plently of space with 3Fs.
I usually go there to study so its very nice and relaxed.
I'm putting in the effort to read more English books.
The book i picked up was "The list of my desires" 

しょっぱなから知らない単語盛りだくさん…

でもとりあえずスルーして読んでいます

というか内容あんまり解ってないんですけどね……

とりあえずChapter'sはオススメです

There are plenty of difficult words I dont know.
But I'm continueing to read this book.
I feel like I dont understand alot of whats going on sometimes...
but anyways, I recommend Chapters to everyone!

ボウエンアイランド

METRO店RYUGOが夏日が戻った先週Bowen Islandに行って来ました

Down TownからバスでHorseshoeBayまでフェリーに乗り換えBowen

少し街から離れるだけでこの自然パワー

 

散策の前にとりあえず軽く一杯。

のはすがPUBに居座り...

散策は近くの滝までとなりました

(飲み過ぎました..)

 

その後マイナスイオンに囲まれながらアサラト&ジャンベ

Its a Great Day

男だらけのBBQ

 

昨日labor dayで祝日だったのでメトロ店新スタッフYU&TAKI&RYUGOで 

オーナーのミサコさんのおうちにお邪魔させてもらい 

美容雑誌の撮影会を含めてBBQをしてきました

これぞカナディアンスタイル！って感じのボリュームで

今までの日本でのBBQスタイルを覆されました。

recently, it was the Labor day holiday.
The newest members of the metrotown branch: Yu, Taki and Ryugo
went to the owner, Misako's house for a BBQ while taking
photos for a spot in a japanese magazine about hairstylists
The volume of the meat! I guess this is what canadian BBQ style is!
 The Japanese BBQ style is nothing compared to this. 

 

ワンちゃんと散歩もできて

サプライズのバースデーケーキまで用意してもらって感動でした

 We got to walk the dogs and
I even got a suprise birthday cake! 

 

最後の夏を満喫できました

ミサコさん、ありがとうございました（YU,TAKI,RYUGOより） 

明日からまた頑張ります
