この時期になるとやっぱり

花火は

はずせないイベントのひとつですよね～　

 

実はバンクーバーで

毎年ホンダが提供している

花火のコンテストが行われるんです！！

 

Hello this is the North Vancouver branch

Fireworks is a must do event for the summer.

In Vancouver, there is a fireworks contest hosted
by HONDA every year 

　

 

今回は中国、ブラジル、カナダ

の

３ヶ国でコンテストが行われています！！

This year the contestants were China, Brazil and Canada

　 

 

それぞれの国の個性があり

とても綺麗です

 

日本では、なかなか他の国の花火を

見る機会がないので、

毎年色々な国の花火を見れるバンクーバーは

最高です～

 

みなさんもぜひっ！

この時期は花火を見に行って

夏を感じましょ～  

 
You can see the different personalities of the different countries. 
In Japan, you cant see other countries fireworks. 
Vancouver is just so multi cultral and great. 

I hope everyone can enjoy the summer fireworks here in Vancouver.

先日、初めてフィリピンレストランに行ってきました。

名前はLittle Ongpin

Recently I went to my first philipino restaurant.
Its called Little Ongpiin  

フィリピン人のお客様が紹介してくれたおみせです。

場所はリッチモンドのNo5×キャンビーにあるとても小さなお店です。

My philipino customer recommended the store.
It's a small store located in Richmond at No. 5 and Cambie. 
 

 

中に入ると、ものすごく蒸し暑くフィリピンに来たかな？という感じになりました。

店員さんはもちろん、お客様もほぼフィリピンの方！

Inside was very hot, it felt like walking into the philipines. 
The customers there aswell as the staff were all philipino  

 

味もさすがでした。

最初にご飯、チキンとパパイヤ、ねぎがのっている丼ものです。

次の茶色のがチキンと卵の謎なソースでした。

これは少し酸っぱかったけど、癖になるあじでした。

最後のはビーフンでレモンをかけて食べるのが定番だそうです。

The taste was amazing. 
First we had chicken, papaya, green onions on rice.
 Next the brown dish is chicken, eggs and a mysterious sauce.
This was alittle sour but kind of addicting .
Lastly we have beef and noodles.
Apparently its popular to squeeze lemon over it.  

やはり、その国の方に聞いて行くのがいいですね！

Its always best to ask the person of the naitonality of the cuisine for recommendations.

お客様がとても優しい所

日系のサロンに来店しているという事もあって、私のつたない英語でも怒ることなく

色々なことを教えてくれます

The customers are very nice.
Maybe because they are coming to a Japanese Hair Salon,
they accept my bad english with patience. 
They teach me many things instead.

FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP

Richmond Sayuriが昨日７月５日お休みを頂き、

ワールドカップ決勝戦日本VSアメリカを見に行ってきました

場所はバンクーバーのBCプレイススタジアム

お店からも電車などで２０～３０分ちょっとしか離れていない絶好の場所で

まさか日本の決勝戦を観戦できるとは思っていませんでした

Sayuri from the Richmond branch has received a day off on July 5th
to watch the Women's soccer finals Japan vs USA.
It was held in Vancouver's BC place stadium.
From the store it onlyt takes 20-30min by train.
I didnt think I would be able to cheer on the Japanese team here in Vancouver.  

観客の90%はアメリカファン

 

私の隣、後、前もアメリカファンばかりでしたが、かまわず応援しました

 

選手は最後まで諦めずに戦っているのが凄く伝わってきました

 

結果は負けてしまいましたが、閉会式では、お互いの国の選手にみんなが拍手をしていました

 

感動しました

 

とても貴重な場所に行けて良かったです

 

ありがとうございます

90% of the stadium was American fans. 

All around me were American fans but regardless I cheered.
I felt both teams energy not giving up until the very end.
In the end it was Japans loss but it felt like everybody was applauding for both teams.  
I was soo moved!

I'm glad I was able to be part of a very special moment.
