Seattle！

バンクーバーからシアトルに２日間旅行に行ってきました

１日目は、市内観光と野球観戦でした

シアトルには、きれいな景色のところもあれば

壁一面ガムだらけの不衛生な場所もありました

From Vancouver to Seattle, I took a 2 day vacation.
First day was just exploring the city and watching some baseball.
Seattle had some beautiful scenery aswell as a wall covered with chewing gum.

ちなみに世界不衛生な観光スポット２位に選ばれたそうです

そして夜は野球観戦

マリナーズアイスを食べながら観戦し、試合も勝つことができました

Apparently the wall of gum was placed
2nd in the world for most unsanitary tour spot.
And at night, we watched some baseball.
We watched while eating Mariners ice cream.
They were able to win the match too.

２日目は、シアトル航空博物館に行きました戦闘機や昔の飛行機など

外から中までいろいろ見ることができました

The second day, we went to Seattle Airplane museum. We saw military planes, old historic planes and many more.

充実した２日間になりました

 It was a very refreshing 2 days

White Rock

ゆったりまったりくつろぎMOODなこの頃のおでかけは郊外へ

プチ旅行気分で、電車やバスに揺られること数時間

アメリカとの国境の境目のWHITE ROCKに

昼間の雰囲気も素敵ですが、

Relaxing~ Lets use this nice mood to go for an outing.
A mini vacation mood. Taking bus and trains for a few hours.
We were off to White rock! located a few minutes from the boarder.
The wheather during the afternoon was awsome!

仕事終わりにこの景色とともにDinner
A nice dinner after work with this scenery!

At Crescent Beach, People were BBQing and playing sports.
There were even people having a beach wedding

We went to watch fireworks
at the celebration of light, which was held 3 times this year.
After work we rushed to english bay but there were
soo many people already.
there is a reason why so many people come to this event.

Last sunday,
we went to watch the parade on robson.
All the groups were very flashy

 

海外に居るからこそ見られる


独特の衣装やメイク


夢に出てきそうなくらいの

パレードでした

とても楽しかったです

Its possible to see somthing like this
because its outside of Japan.
Very glamorous costumes, outfits and makeup.
It was like a parade straight out from a dream

DEEP COVE!

こんにちは～

先週のお休み

Ｄｅｅｐ Ｃｏｖｅ

行ってきました

バンクーバーダウンタウンからバスで一本

あっという間に到着

Hello~
For my day off last week, I went to the deep cove.
1 bus from downtown vancouver.
It was a quick ride.

行けば必ず食べるおすすめは

ドーナツ(写真撮るの忘れちゃいました)

できたてあつあつでペロリと

そのあとはカヤック

If you go there, you have to try the donuts!
(unfortunately I forgot to take a picture)
Fresh out of the oven.
After that we went Kayaking

ちゃぽちゃぽ、ちゃぽちゃぽ

時には暴風に邪魔され、わっせわっせと

Splash splash!
Strong gusts of wind pushed us back sometimes

気持ちよかった～
Felt so good

こんな近くに自然と触れ合える場所があるのも

バンクーバーの魅力ですね

毎年夏に必ず行きたくなる

ほんっとに大好きな場所の一つです

To have the nature so close from the city realy is Vancouver's good point.
Makes me want to go every summer.
This really is one of my favourite places

BBQ

先日スタッフがBBQをオーナーのMISAKO邸でしたい！とお願いして

了解を得たのでみんなで仕事後行ってきました。

車でちょっと走って到着すると、かわいいわんこが３匹お迎えしてくれました。

us staff at the main branch have been bugging Misako to hold a party at her house. So we decided to have a big BBQ after work!

 

１匹は臆病で写真には撮れずでした。

天気も気温もベストコンディションで最高でした。

One of the dogs didnt let me take a picture.
Wheather and temperature was perfect condition!

 

 

バルコニーから見える景色もまた気持ちよくてリフレッシュできました。

The view from the balcony was so beautiful. It was very refreshing.

まだまだ夏なので仕事頑張りつつ夏を満喫したいと思います

Since its still summer, I plan to work hard and get the most out of summer.

The Canadian Rockies

 

先月、初めてロッキーへ行ってきました。

行きはゆっくりVIA鉄道で素晴らしい景色を見ながら最高でした。

山の天気は変化しやすいですが、比較的天候には恵まれました。

This month, I went to the Rockies for the first time!
The trip there we took the train. A very nice ride watching the scenery.
The wheather can change quickly on the mountains, but we were blessed with good luck.

道中、沢山の動物、素晴らしい自然の数々を見れて癒されました。
On the way there, we saw animals and all kinds of happenings of the nature.
We were very moved by the experience.

ロッキーへ行って以来、アウトドアに目覚め夏はあちこちカナダの自然を求めてハイキングをしています。

After going to the rockies, I began hiking and enjoying the outdoors of vancouver more.

先日、我がBOSSことMISAKOの誕生日でした。

DAVIE店スタッフでお花をプレゼントしたところ、

お礼にということでディナーをおごってくださいました。

A few days ago, it was our Boss Misako's birthday!
We presented her with flowers.
She treated us with dinner as thanks.

この写真のケーキは手作りだそうです。

おいしそ～！

ディナーは高級レストランやショップが並ぶロブソンストリート近くの

チャイニーズレストランに行きました。

広いテーブルをぐるりと囲み真ん中の回るテーブルに次々料理が

運ばれてきます。

北京ダックを使った料理、ロブスター、炒飯、何かレタスに包むおいしいやつ、等等。

This cake in the picture was handmade!
looks soo good!
Dinner was at a chinese restaurant located on robson where
highclass shops and restaurants are lined up.
We sat on a big round table with a spinning glass in the centre.
Food kept coming and coming.

 真ん中には美味しいジャスミンティー。

みんな美容師という仕事柄か食べるのが速くあっという間に無くなります。

最後は杏仁豆腐＆タピオカ。

腹いっぱいと言いつつもこれはみんな別腹。

最後にロブスターの頭だけ寂しそうに残っておりました。

In the centre was a delicious jasmin tea.
Probably because everyone is a hairstylist, the food on the table was devoured very quickly.
For dessert: Annin tofu and tapioka pudding.
We were all full, but we stuffed it in our 2nd stomache.
We ended up leaving a lobster head untouched.
