美容師になったきっかけはなんですか?
小さい頃から自然となりたいと思っていました。
将来の夢を聞かれると「美容師」と答えていました。
美容師ごっこをして遊んでいました。
美容師として心がけていることはありますか?
長い時間の施術もありますので、
その時間をいかに楽しませるかを考えています。
笑わせるのが好きなので
「笑い」を心掛けています。
日本で働いていた時との違いを感じますか?
すべてが自分次第であること。
例えば時間の使い方。
カナダで働いていて驚いたことはありますか?
多国籍でいろんな人種の人が生活していること。
想像した以上にアジア人が多いこと。
バンクーバーのおすすめは何ですか？
好きなスタイルはなんですか？
世界各国の本格料理が食べられて
そして量が多いこと。
残しても持って帰るのが普通で
お土産付きの外食ができること。
Maya is always bright and full of energy.
Just by having her in the store,
the whole store seems brighter.
To start off with she loves to talk and eat.
She usually cant stop laughing
She is popular amongst the staff and the customers.
Why did you decide on becoming a stylist?
When I was a child I always wished to be able to apply
with a job I enjoy and find natural.
When people asked me what I want to be when I grow up,
I answered that I want to be a hair stylist.
I used to pretend to be a hair stylist and cut things for fun.
As a stylist what do u put your heart and soul in too?
The time I have with my customer may be fairly long.
I want the customer to have fun during that long time.
I like to make people laugh so I put my heart into “laughter".
Do you feel anything different working from Japan to Canada?
I get control over everything I do.
for example: the way I use my time.
Are you surprised by anything after working in Canada?
How it is a Multicultural country,
there are so many different people living here.
I was also very shocked from the mass number of Asians.
