Why did you decide to come to Canada? 

外国の街並みや旅行が大好きで、外国で暮らす生活を体感してみたかった。

日本人だけではなく、外国人の方のヘアーもこなせるようになりたかったから。

I always loved to travel and see different citys.
I wanted to experience life outside of Japan

 

Q2バンクーバーを選んだきっかけは？
Why did you decide on Vancouver? 

カナダは住みやすい街と教えてもらったから。

自然が大好きで海も山もあり、都市でもある事に惹かれました！

Canada is known to be a very comfortable place to live. 
I love nature, and I was attracted by how Vancover has mountains,
the ocean and still an Urban city

What do you like about Vancouver? 

とにかく人が優しくみんな親切

そして温かい　ゆったりと時間が流れて、住みやすく居心地がいいです☆
The people are so nice and caring.
Its also so warm and time goes by in a slow and comfortable pace. 

Q４日本で働いていた時と違う所は？
What is the difference from working in Japan? 

知らない人でもよくあいさつをして来てくれる仕事面では、「あなたはどう思う？」

と髪型に対してゆだねてきてくれる
People greet one another even to strangers. 
During work, alot of the customers want to know the stylists opinion 

Q５好きなスタイル・得意なスタイルは？
Favorite style, specialty styles? 

ショートカット・ボブスタイルが好きです。

ロングではパーマなどのカールがかかったふわっとしたスタイルが得意です
I like short of bob styles.
For long hair, I like permed styles that are soft and bouncy.

Hobbies?

音楽・読書・旅行！！

あとは食べる事と飲む事

知らなかった隠れ観光スポット

最近お気に入りの場所を見つけました

どのくらい気に入っているかと言うと二週間に一回のペースで通っています

近くに住んでいながらやっと最近その場所を突き止めました

ダウンタウン在住の方でしたらご存知だと思いますが

毎日21:00にGUN SOUNDの合図がありますね

毎日何気なく聞いていましたが、ある日突然気になり始めました…

それは地下のヒミツの洞窟かどこかで…

毎日21:00ピッタリに係りの人が通って弾をこめているのか…

真相を突き止める為に心当たりのある場所を探し求めました

その場所は以外にもあっさり見つかりました

柵には囲まれているもののとてもオープンな場所にありました

Recently I found my favorite spot!
I go there atleast once every 2 weeks now.
You probably know it already if you live in downtown.
There is a loud gun sound at 9pm every night.
I always heard it but never paid attention to it.  
Slowly it started to bother me and became curious to what it was. 
I thought maybe it was some workers working underground percisly at 9 every day.
So I decided to go investigate!
I found it quite easily actually.
It wasnt hidden at all. It was really in the open.

毎回通うたびに20～30人くらいのオーディエンスがいます

あの爆音は癖になるのでしょう

皆リピーターのようです

最近は日が伸びて21:00でも明るいです

気になる方は是非行ってみてください

その場所はコールハーバー沿いにスタンレーパークに向かって歩いて行った

トーテムポールの近くにあります

It automatically rings when its time.
Every day, there is an audience of 20-30 people. 
That sound is strangley addicting.
People make it tradition and become regulars.
Recently the days are longer so its still bright out at 9.
Please go check it out.
the place is in coal harbour closer to stanley park.
Its close to the totem poles.

We received some sushi cone ingredients from Misako! 

カナダにいるとは思えない程の、

フレッシュなお魚と、たくさんの種類の具材に

ほっぺた落っこちゃうよ～～な

手巻き寿司でした！ 

Its possible to get really fresh sashimi in Vancouver.
The cones we made were so good my cheeks were about to fall off!

Vancouver Sun Run!!

こんにちはーーーー

ここ最近Beach店ではランニングブーム

先日

VANVOUVER SUN RUN

に出場してきました

10キロマラソンでは世界一の人数規模のようで、

人、人、人

Hello~
Recently at the Beach brance, we're hooked on running!
We went to the SUN RUN
It is the worlds biggest 10km event.
People everywhere! 

 　

今回の出場者数はなんと6万人超えだったようです

完走できるか不安でしたが

いざスタートしてみるとこれが気持ちいい

目標タイムも大幅にクリアし達成感もはんぱない

ランニングの楽しさを改めて実感しました

これからの季節どんどん素敵になっていくので

ランニングだけに限らず

たくさん太陽の光を浴びたいと思います

 There were apparently over 600,000 participants this year!
I was worried I may not be able to finish,
but once the marathon started it felt very good running.
I manage to easily beat the time that I set myself.
I got to remember how fun running can be. 
Its going to get nicer soon this season so I plan to enjoy many activities, not just running, and be in the sun as much as possible.

recently we went to a chinese restauant on Main street 

 

 

ここのお店はポークベリーが美味しと言う事で、

さっそくたのんでみると..........

We heard that the Pork belly here was very good,

when we orderd it... 

 

 

柔らかくておいしーー

その他のポークさんどや、ニラのギョウザも味がしっかりしていて美味しかったです

皆さんも是非一度どうぞ

It was very soft and tasty!
Other than that, the pork sandwitch and dumplings were also very good.
Please try it out when you get the chance to.

I wanted to be able to touch hair other than asian hair

Why did you decide to come to Vancouver?  

自分の住んでいる町と環境が似ていたからです。

山と海が近いところ。
Because the climate is similar to my home town in Japan.
Also because of the mountains and ocean.

What is nice about Vancouver?

海、山、ショッピングセンターがあるところ！
The sea,  the mountains, the shopping centres!

What is the difference from working in Japan? 

営業スタイル、お客様のニーズ。。。そしてチップと全てが違います。
The working system, the needs of the customers, how there is tips, pretty much everything....

What is your favorite style? your specialty?
