サロンを盛り上げています。
Richmondスタッフをまとめる大黒柱です。

　マネージャーとして心がけていることは何ですか　
とにかく日々勉強です。
来店されたお客様、スタッフにとって
心地よい環境作りを心がけています。

　Richmond店の特徴は何ですか　
たくさんのチャイニーズレストランがあり、
いろいろなスタイルの料理が食べれます。
飲茶も安くて美味しいお店がいっぱい！
でも、メニューがありすぎて
オーダーするのが難しい．．．

　働いていて楽しいと思うはことはなんですか　
日本と違って、自分のペースで楽しく働けます。
いろいろな国の人の話が聞けます。

　最近ハマっていることは何ですか　
読書・ジム通い・ゴルフ・テニス
通年でビールを飲むこと！！

　バンクーバーのおすすめは何ですか　
もう夏は最高です。
大きな木が多くて緑がきれい。
休みの日には、海辺でお昼寝したり、
読書や音楽を聴いて、ゆっくりと過ごす時間が好きです。

あとウィスラーも夏は湖の周りと森の中のサイクリング
冬は日本のスキー場とは比べものにならない広さと景色が最高です。

The Richmond  staff has rumors that
she is secretly a wizard with powers to cheer everyone up. 
The leader who gathers us and holds us like a bridge.

 What do you focus and care for the most as the manager?
To Learn everyday.
To focus on the daily customers and
make an atmosphere that would please them.

What specializes the Richmond branch?
Many Chinese restaurant near our area and
many styles of food are available.
Dimsum is very cheap and tasty here.
There is too much on the menu its hard to decide…

 When do you find fun during work?
Unlike  Japan , we can work at our own pace.
I can listen to many people from around the globe.

 What are you into lately?
Reading , golf, tennis and beer!

  What is “in” in Vancouver right now?　
Summer is awesome.
The big trees and the nature is so beautiful.
During the breaks, going to the beach to take a nap and
listening to music or reading a book is very relaxing for me.
Also Whistler in the summer there is cycling
around the sea and through the forests.
The Ski resorts are incomparable from Japan’s during the winter.
It is very spacious and beautiful here.

ダイエットの前に。。。

Beachで1位、2位を争う、食いしん坊のmayaとmitsu。
2人でメトロタウンにお出かけして夏物をＧＥＴ。
これから露出が増える季節なので
ダイエットをしなければいけません。

しかし！！
食欲旺盛な2人は美味しいものを発見。
メトロタウン内にあるＴ＆Ｔ(チャイニーズスーパーマーケット)
惣菜コーナーで見つけたパンフライド肉まん
なんと二個で＄２．５０で買えちゃいます。

あまりの美味しさにペロリと１人二個完食！
みなさんも是非お試しください。

 ビタミンもしっかりとりましょう。

 

Beach Hair Studio's number 1 and number 2 big eater,
Maya and Mitsu, went to metrotown the other day to do some summer shopping!

 

Got to do some exercise since
it will soon be the season to get outside and enjoy the sun!

 

However, the hungry Maya and Mitsu
just recently found something very delicious!

 

They found a two pan-friend pork bun package for only $2.50
at the Daily Dish section at T&T in Metrotown.

 

It's only $2.50 for two!!

 

It was so delicious that we both had two each.

 

I would like to recommend
the T&T Pan-Fried Pork Bun to everyone!

 

(Don't each too much meat ^_^.
　Don't forget to take in the essential vitamines as well!)

METROの愉快な仲間たち ２

いつもワイワイガヤガヤなメトロメンバー！！
みんなでよく食事に行ったり、BBQしたり、基本みんなお酒の”ノリ”が好きッス。
最近では、バケーションで日本に帰ってきた、RISAKからのプレゼント！！
本格麦焼酎をみんなで堪能しました。　　　
なかなかおいしい焼酎が手に入らないので、最高に贅沢な夜になりました。　　　

毎回何か楽しいハプニングが起こるのですが、ここではあまり話せないので、お店に来た時に、
スタッフに聞いてみてください。。
それぞれが、武勇伝をもってますから、、、、、、、、
“酒は飲んでも飲まれるな！”　　　っすね♡　　　　　　




Everyone at metrotown Misako's is enthusiastic and cheerful!
We all go out to eat together, goto barbeque together, and we all, most definitely, enjoy drinking together.
Recently, Risako came back from her vacation in japan and brought us back a gift!
A mugi-jyochu (a genuine wheat alcohol) that we all drank together.
Since we can't get good mugi jyochu here, it was a very luxurious night for us.
There is always something exciting happening at metrotown misako's, but some things are too extreme to be mentioned here, so if you are interested, please talk to one of our staffs when you visit us next time.
Everyone has their own unique story to tell.
I would just like to say, "You can drink sake all you want, just don't get drunk by it".

美容師になったきっかけは何ですか？

小さい頃から友達の髪をいじるのが好きで
小学校三年生くらいの時には美容師になろうと決めていました。

日本で働いていた時との違いは何ですか？

自分が担当させてもらうお客様と最初から最後まで接していられる事ですね。

美容師として心掛けていることは何ですか？

思いやり

自分が美容室に行くと上手く説明ができないタイプなので、
同じようなタイプのお客様がみえた時は、
少しでも言いやすい環境を作りこちらからも
アドバイスできるよう心掛けています。

カナダの美容室で働いて驚いた事は何ですか？

ＴＩＰ制度と、仕事の後に自分の時間がもてることです。

好きなスタイルは何ですか？

ロングのパーマスタイル

バンクーバーのお勧めは？

こちらに住んでいる人ですね。暖かいです。

What is the reason you became a Hair Stylist?

When I was little, I liked playing around with my friend's hair
and by the third year of elementary school,
i've already decided to become a hair stylist.

What is the difference between working in Japan and in Canada?

 I get to have my own customers and be able to
take care and interact with them from beginning to the end.

What is your attitude as a Hair Stylist?

Being considerate

Since I am not good at expressing how I want my hair done
when I goto a hair salon, when I have customers
who are also unable to explain themselves well,
I try my best to make them feel comfortable
by providing them with support and advice.

What did you find surprising as a hairstylist in Canada?

• Tipping System
• I am able to have my personal time after work.

What is your favorite Hair Style?

Long, Perm Style

What do you recommend about Vancouver?

The people who lives here. Everyone is very warm and welcome.

Davie店のＹＵＫＡは、癒し系。
一緒にいると、時間がゆっくり流れている気がします。
でも、趣味はスノーボードＢＢＱなど、アウトドアな一面もあり。
その雰囲気に皆さんリラックスできると思いますよ！

美容師になったきっかけはなんですか?
幼稚園の頃から友達や自分の髪をカットするのが大好きで、
初めて行ったサロンで雰囲気が変わって嬉しかったです。

美容師として心がけていることはありますか?
お客様が自宅でどれだけスタイルを再現できるかと言うことと、
スタイルチェンジです。

カナダで働いていて驚いたことはありますか?
色々な国のお客様がいらっしゃるので、髪質の違いに驚きました。
また、日本の美容師が好きと言ってくれる方が多いところです

好きなスタイルはなんですか？
動きのあるスタイルです。
パーマや、ローライト、ハイライトを使ったカラーで動かしていくスタイルです。

日本で働いていた時との違いを感じますか?
ゆっくりと時間が流れてるという事と、完全一客制です

バンクーバーのおすすめは何ですか？
リンバレーブリッジとクィーンエリザベスパークです。
緑が沢山あって、音楽を聴きながら散歩するのが気持ちいいです。

time with her you feel as if time is so slow.
Her hobbies are surprisingly snowboarding,
and out door activities.
Her personality will relax and cleanse you.

What did you find surprising when working in Canada?
Seeing such variety in hair because of all the different
customers from all over the world. A lot of customers
say they like Japanese hair stylist.

Favorite style? Something with movement.
Using Perms, low lights, high lights to form hair with movement.

What do you recommend in Vancouver?
The suspension bridge and queen Elizabeth park.
Taking a walk with music on feels very
refreshing because of all the green around.

Why did you decide to become a Hair stylist?
Ever since kindergarten I liked to cut my friends and my hair.
The first salon I went to did a tremendous job and that made me so happy.

What do you focus most on as a Hair stylist?
To provide a style that’s possible for my
customers to style themselves at home. A style change

What is the difference from working in Japan?
Time goes by a lot slower here.
To give all my attention to one customer only
