私はまだ英語がほとんど話せないのですが、それでもサロンワークが出来ていることにビックリ!!

技術職って素晴らしい!!
I cant speak english that well yet but I'm able to work in a normal salon enviroment. I'm so shocked!
Having a job that requires hands on skill is amazing

日本食ランチ

こんにちは

先日の休みにDenmanストリートのKINGYOへ

ランチに行ってきました

今まで何人もの人におすすめされていたので、やっとKINGYOに行けるっ

と思い、とても楽しみでした

かなり混むと聞いていたので、11:30の開店に

ON TIME！で行きました

もうすでに並んで待っている人がいて

早めに来て良かったなぁと思いました

Hello~
Recently I went to KINGYO on denman street for lunch on my day off.
I have had countless people recommending the restraunt,
so i was really looking forward too it.
I heard it gets very busy so we went there at 11:30am for the openning.
When we got there, there were already people waitting in line!
good thing we got there early.

盛り付けも美しく、美味しかった～

他にもたくさんのメニューがあるので、また行きたいです

 The atmosphere was very Japanese style
The food arrangement and taste were excellent.
There are plenty of other selections, so i'd like to go again soon.

先日連休を頂いてニューヨーク旅行に行ってきました。

Hello, its Aya from the metrotown branch.
Recently I received a holiday,
so i took a little trip to New York city.
It was very beautiful so I made sure my pictures
are bettter quality this time

It was so bright and glamorous everywhere.

The weather was good so it was beautiful.

We also watched Spiderman in broadway.

METRO店のスタイリスト“RIE” 産休から復帰のお知らせ

METRO店のスタイリスト“RIE”　産休から復帰のお知らせ このたびは、1年間も産休を頂戴いたしまして本当にありがとうございました。 これも皆さまのご理解やご協力の賜物と本当に心から感謝する次第でございます。 これからも育児との両立で、皆さまにはご迷惑をおかけすることも多々ございますでしょうが、 一生懸命頑張ってまいりますのでどうかよろしくお願い申し上げます。 本当にありがとうございました。 尚、3月26日からの復帰になりますが、 パートタイムで火、金、土曜日の10時から5時までの勤務になります。 　ご理解の方よろしくお願いします。    We would like to inform you that RIE from the Metrotown branch will be back from her maternity leave. 東京！JAPAN!

デイビー店でアシスタントをしているGENKIです

先週日本へ行ってきました！

兄が東京に住んでいるので一週間だけ泊まらせてもらいました。

いや～　やっぱり東京は凄い感動

こんなに賑やかで、狭いけど便利で効率的な場所は他に無いと思います。

日本で遊んでいて一つ気づいた事がありました。

それはお店での日本人のサービスです。

日本のサービスは本当に凄いです。

一瞬も休まず次から次へとさっさと動く。

カナダのやり方とは違いますね。

でも日本のやり方は完璧ですけど、

カナダで育った僕には逆にそれが違和感が少しありました。

少し堅苦しい時もあり、凄く頑張りすぎてるからなのか

こっちも気を使ってしまいました。

マクドナルドのような大きな会社はセリフまで決まっていて

ロボットと話している様な気がしました。　

そこが良さでもあると思うのですが

友達と話す時の気楽さも僕は欲しいなと思ってしまいました。

僕自身はあまりお客様が堅苦しく思うサービスは好きではないです。

でも、気楽でフレンドリーに、そして日本人のような効率的な動きがしたいです！

東京に住むのは僕には出来ないと思いますが

遊びに行くのは本当に楽しい便利な街なので

また近いうちにぜひ行きたいと思います。

Tokyo tower!

Stylish Omotesando Streets

Hello, this is Michael form the davie branch
Just last week I went to japan.
My brother is working in Tokyo, so I stayed at his place for a week.

Tokyo is amazing. very moving.
I dont think theres anywhere else in the world that is as crammed, busy and efficient as tokyo.
There was one thing that I realized when i was in tokyo.
Its the service of the Japanese people.
Japanese service is really amazing.
The people there work hard moving quickly from one task to another.
Alittle different from some of the Canadian businesses.
Japanese service seemed flawless, but I felt alittle unease in that perfection.
It just seemed to tense, and because the people there are working soo hard, I felt alittle pressured to match their energy.
Big companys like Mcdonalds have a dialogue already set so it felt like I was talking to robots at the cash register. very well mannered, polite robots with a genuine smile. It was just the relaxed  easiness of when you talk to a friend that was missing.
I dont think I'll be able to live in Tokyo,
but I plan to go back soon for fun.
I recommend the fascinating city to everyone.
It'll be a major culture shock.

お家で手作りの料理をみんなで食べるのも幸せですね

recently we had a Birthday party for Sayuri from Richmond branch
Her request for this time was a pot luck party.
We headed over to Sayuri's place, each with somthing.
Its nice to go to a nice restaurant sometimes but eating home made food together is pretty nice aswell

ムール貝とハマグリの白ワイン蒸しセロリにウォッカ＆トマトジュースの寒天ゼリーを流したもの

クッキーフルーツ

なんとサングリアまで手作り

かなりヘルシーなパーティでした

その後はみんなでゲーム大会

楽しかった～

SAYURIさん！素敵な一年にっっ

Beef, soba noodles, stir fry, salads, steamed muscles, appetizers, cookies and fruits. Even the sangrila was home made.
A very healthy party.
After that we played games!
It was soo much fun.
Happy birthday sayuri!
