2月2日は節分でした。
メトロ店では節分に食べる「恵方巻き」を作りました。
各自分担して海苔、米、人参、ホウレンソウ、ツナ、玉子等を持ち寄り
巻いて作りました。
一人一本でかなり食べごたえがありました。
At the metrotown branch, we made some lucky sushi rolls to mark the end of the winter season. We thought of the combination ourselves: rice, sea weed, carrots, spinach, tuna, and egg. one roll per person. It was quite filling.
そしてみんなで南南東を向いて食べました。
とてもおいしかったです。
We faced south as we ate the rolls (japanese tradition)
そして軽く豆まき。
豆がないので落花生で代用。
And we also had a light beans throwing.
We didnt have any beans so we used peanuts instead.

このお面は昨年の節分に続き今年も活躍しました。
かなりのクオリティーですね。
GO鬼が祭りのうちわを持っているのがちょっと気になりますが
鬼退治
した後はみんなできれいに掃除。
カナダで節分気分を少しでも楽しめて良かったです。
This mask was used last year aswell for the same tradition.
The quality is pretty high actually.
Its funny how the demon GO has a festival fan.
After we defeat the demon, we all had to clean up.
Im happy I got to enjoy the japanese tradition here in canada.
