英タイムズ紙が暴露 安倍政権によるNHKへの言論統制
イギリスの電子版「ザ・タイムズ」紙は入手した極秘内部文書から日本の公共放送NHKが安倍政権の規制ルール下におかれていることを暴露している。
タイトルは「Japan’s ‘BBC’ bans any reference to wartime ‘sex slaves’（NHK、戦時の性奴隷に関する言及はいっさいご法度）」。ちなみに、wartime ‘sex slaves’とは慰安婦のこと。またJapan’s ‘BBC’とはＮＨＫのこと。英国人にはなじみのないＮＨＫをイギリスの公共放送BBCになぞらえている。
１０月１９日付記事によると、NHKは悪名高い南京大虐殺（the notorious Rape of Nanking）、戦時の性奴隷使用（the country’s use of wartime sex slaves）、それに中国との領土紛争（its territorial dispute with China）に関するいかなる言及も禁止されている。
とりわけ、NHKの英語報道に係わる編集者には日本の政治問題に関連したトピックスを扱う場合には使用されるべき寸ぷんたがわぬ言葉付け（the precise phrasing to be used）までもが指示されている(instructed)という。そしてこうした規制ルールは日本の保守的な国粋主義者(Japan’s conservative nationalist) である安倍の方針(the position)にそったものであると結んでいる。
いずれにしても、ザ・タイムズ紙の暴露をまつまでもなく、安倍がコソコソと国内メディアへの言論規制を強めていることは確かだ。
ところで安倍の御用紙フジ産経が前ソウル支局長の在宅起訴で、やれ言論のない韓国とか、やれ言論の自由への狭量さ示した朴政権とか、異常なほどまでに韓国を批判してあいかわらず嫌韓を煽り立てているが、自国のメディアに報道規制をかける安倍政権の方がよほど危惧・批判されるべきだ。むしろ外国メディア、それも日本でも問題紙・フジ産経を締め付ける朴政権の方がまだまともだといえる。管理人

Japan’s public broadcaster, NHK, has banned any reference to the 悪名高いnotorious Rape of Nanking, to the country’s use of wartime sex slaves, and to its territorial dispute with China, in what critics see as a surrender of its editorial independence.
In a secret internal document, obtained by The Times, journalists on NHK’s English-language services are instructed about the precise phrasing to be used in reporting some of the most controversial topics in Japanese politics.
The rules appear to reflect the position of the government of Shinzo Abe,Japan’s conservative nationalist prime minister.
