忙しくてなかなか更新できないままになっておりました・・・。記事にしたい名曲や素晴らしいアルバムが沢山あるのですが、それはまたおいおいと。
ところで、今日（関東地区）ＴＶ東京の「アド街っく」（ちなみに”祐天寺”特集）を見ていたら２９位の情報のＢＧＭでこの名曲がちょっとだけ流れていて、驚きのあまりここに書いています。
この曲は、わけありの、悲しい歌です。
カナダのSSWであるPaul Grady（ちなみに私の好きなPaul Bradyかと勘違いしておりました（笑））が書いた曲で、アンは74年のアルバムで歌っており、エミルーは82年のアルバムで取り上げている名曲です。その内容は・・・
アイルランドの祖母の認知能力が日々衰えていき、アイリッシュ訛でお話を聞かせてくれたそのお話やいろいろな想い出まで記憶が霞んでいくのをみて、その心の疼きを歌ったものです。穏やかなメロディでそんな悲しい内容が歌われています。是非一度お聴き下さい。何人も抗う事ができない人の生の哀しみが穏やかに、且つ深く心に沁みる名曲です・・・。
