伊藤環境大臣の水俣病被害者への対応について
５月７日のテレビで水俣病被害者の発言を環境庁職員が阻止する映像をみた。発言時間３分というルールを被害者側が守らないので、環境省の職員がマイクを切ったという事らしい。
そのような非常事態がおきているのに、伊藤大臣は無言で困ったような顔をしていた。
これを見て、私は呆れてしまった。そもそも、言いたい事が山ほどある人間の発言時間を僅か３分という時間しか与えない所からずれている。また、環境省の担当者が無理なルールで押し切ろうとしていることが分った時点で、伊藤大臣が介入すべきであったろう。
環境省に限らず、他の省庁でも大臣・副大臣は名誉職だと思って、椅子に座って官僚の言いなりになっている風景が眼に見えるようである。日本の政界も官界も相当腐敗しているようだ。
Regarding Minister of the Environment Ito's response to Minamata disease victims
On May 7th, I saw a video on TV of an employee of the Environment Agency blocking Minamata disease victims from speaking. Apparently, the Ministry of the Environment staff cut off the microphone because the victim did not comply with the three-minute speaking time rule.
Even though such an emergency situation was occurring, Minister Ito remained silent and looked troubled.
I was stunned when I saw this. In the first place, this is a deviation from the point where a person who has so much to say has only three minutes to speak. Furthermore, Minister Ito should have intervened once it became clear that the person in charge of the Ministry of the Environment was trying to impose unreasonable rules.
Not only in the Ministry of the Environment, but in other ministries as well, we can see ministers and vice-ministers sitting in chairs and doing the bidding of bureaucrats, thinking that they are honorary positions. It seems that Japan's political and government circles are highly corrupt.
