徳育>体育>知育

 教育ママは自分の子供が受験戦争に勝ち抜き、良い大学に入って良い企業に就職する事を夢みているのであろう。しかしながら、学問を詰め込むだけの知育は、学歴をよくするだけで、実社会では殆ど役には立たないだろう。
 知識ばかりの人間が役に立つことはなく、そのような人間は職場の人間関係に悩む事になるだろう。

 人格と健康と知識のうちの何が処世で重要かと言えば、表題の通りだと思う。志操が正しくなければ人の活動は本筋からずれて人を不幸に導くだろう。
 ましてや、AIが知的労働の多くを補える時代がきつつあり、ますます知識の重要性は低下しつつある。教育で最重要なものは、徳育である。

 Education-conscious mothers probably dream of their children winning the entrance exam war, entering a good university, and getting a job at a good company. However, intellectual education that only crammes academic subjects will only improve their school career, and will be of little use in the real world.
 A person who only has knowledge will not be useful, and such a person will likely have trouble with interpersonal relationships at work.

 When it comes to getting along in life, I think the most important thing among personality, health, and knowledge is as the title says. If one's aspirations are not correct, one's activities will stray from the main course and lead to unhappiness.
 Moreover, we are entering an age where AI can replace much of the intellectual labor, and the importance of knowledge is declining. The most important thing in education is moral education.

教育のあるべき姿

 教育は知育ばかりではない。学習塾や受験戦争の事を考えると、知育こそが最重要のように世間では考えられているように思えるが、そうではないだろう。
 知育以外に体育と徳育があるが、私は徳育こそが最重要であると思う。

 知育で記憶力が重要な意味を持つような教育は、最早時代遅れと言って良いだろう。インターネットやデジタル世界の普及により、殆ど辞書が不要になったので、情報をどう使うかという事や、情報にどのようにアクセスするかという能力の方が重要になってきた。

 学問的知識が実社会で役にたつ事は殆ど稀であり、身体が健全で対人能力が優れている事の方が重視されてきている。知識偏重型の教育は寧ろ弊害の方が多く、一刻も早い見直しが必要だろう。

廃れていく日本の美風

 日本人は控えめで公共心が多分にあり、礼儀正しい人が多い。江戸時代では寺子屋が全国的に盛んだったと言う事を聞いた事があるが、この事が影響しているのかも知れない。
 江戸時代は徳川幕府が儒学を治世のための教えとした事も影響しているであろう。
 戦前は教育勅語で、道徳教育が為されたと言うが戦後は教育の場から除かれてしまった。

 教育は、知育、徳育、体育の3つのバランスよく構成される事が望ましいが、徳育が充分ではないのではないか?

 近頃では、詐欺行為が横行し、子供の親殺し、親の育児放棄や遺棄、外国人による窃盗や殺人等の事件が多くなってきている。安心、安全、信頼といった日本の特性は、大切にすべきであり、意図的に維持及び育成していく必要があるだろう。
 戦前のような思想教育をする必要はないが、人格教育を学校教育に盛り込むほうが良い様に思う。

 It is desirable for education to be a balanced mix of intellectual education, moral education, and physical education, but moral education is not being provided enough?

 Recently, there has been a rise in cases of fraud, murder of parents by children, abandonment or child neglect by parents, theft and murder by foreigners, etc. Characteristics of Japan, such as security, safety, and trust, should be treasured and should be intentionally maintained and nurtured.
 There is no need to provide ideological education like before the war, but I think it would be better to include character education in school education.
