クチキオオハナノミ［Pelecotomoides tokejii］（オオハナノミ科）★★★

体長は8～15㎜。北海道、本州、四国、九州に分布するが、全国的に少ない種のようだ。
クリの花をスウィープして採集し、珍しそうだったので生かして持ち帰った。
常にアクティブに動き回り、撮影には非協力的であった。
オオハナノミ科の虫は過変態という生活様式で、幼虫の一時期を他の昆虫類に寄生する。
でも実際は本種の生態は何も判っていないのが現状らしい。
色も形もさえない甲虫だが、全国的に『珍』な様なので、次回、採れた特はVIP待遇したいと思う・・・

I can't speak Japanese, so I can't understand your description very well. In your description, this クチキオオハナノミ is collected by sweeping the flower of クリ? Is there any other way to collect this species? It also can be attracted by light?
