The Rose - Bette Midler

3月震災直後はチームの半分の人数しか出社していない日が暫く続いていました。
その頃は何故かSS501の「LOVE YA」や氷室京介の「NATIVE STRANGER」を好んで
ボリューム上げて聞きながら通勤していました。

1ヶ月程経って、MDの曲を入れ替えてから頻繁に聞いたのがZeroの「約束」。
7年程前にシンガポールで買ったCDに入っていて、気に入った1曲です。
韓国ドラマ「美しき日々」の曲らしいのですが、ドラマは見たことはありません。

5月の半ばにまたMDの中の曲を入れ替えてから、特に先週繰り返し聴いていたのが
ベッドミドラーの「The Rose」でした。夜寝る前にこの曲を聴いていると穏やかな気持ちに
なれて、聴いている数分間は色んなことを振り返る、そんなひと時が持てました。
多くのアーティストにカバーされていて、日本でもカバーしている歌手がいるので、
ご存知の方も多いかと思います。有名な曲で検索するとyoutubeなどで出てきます。
その時々で心に響く箇所が違ってきますが、今は3番目の歌詞に前向きな気持ちになります。
