本日は予定時間を大幅に超えての御指導ありがとうございました。
先生のお話は本当に魅力的で、あっという間の４時間でした。

最後は、先生が大英博物館でお買いになったという、お部屋飾ってあった実物大のロゼッタストーン（レプリカ）の前で一緒に写真撮影をしていただき、感激です。お守りにします。
＜プレゼン＞のテーマは、富士山・箱根・明治維新の三つでした。
また、＜外国語訳＞の課題は、日本の世界遺産・日本の無形文化遺産・東京スカイツリー・日本の庭園でした。

メルマガの〈模擬面接特訓〉〈合格の方程式〉の受講生の皆さんの感想を読んでいたので、想定していた課題でした。それにも関わらず、言葉につまり、たどたどしいプレゼンになってしまいました。本番さながらの緊張感を3週間半前に味あわせていただけたことは、かなり有意義な経験でした。緊張すると、こうなってしまうんだ…ということがわかり、ますます準備に力がはいります。
本日の〈模擬面接特訓〉で学んだことは、主に下記の4つです。
【１】＜プレゼン＞では基本的（重要）な事柄から階層的に説明すること
例えば、京都は1000年以上の古都であり、たくさんの寺と神社がある。それらが、世界遺産に登録されている。…などと、下記のように階層的に説明すること。
（1）京都
Kyoto was an（the） ancient capital of Japan for more than 1,000 years from the 8th to the 19th century.
And there are more than 1,700 （Buddhist） temples and 800（Shinto） shrines in Kyoto.
Kyoto was designated（registered）as World Cultural Heritage Site in1994.
There are 17 Historic Monuments in Kyoto such as Kinkaku-ji Temple, Nijo Castle, Heian-jingu Shrine and so on.

There are 8 Historic Monuments in Nara such as Todaiji Temple, Kasuga-Taisha Shrine and so on.
（3）箱根
Hakone is a hot spring resort.
Hakone is located about 80 kilometers southwest of Tokyo.
It is about 80 minutes by train from Shinjuku.
In Hakone, there are over 1,000 hotels and Japanese inns where you can enjoy hot springs.
Hakone has many tourist attractions, but I highly recommend the sightseeing cruise on Lake Ashi.
If the weather is good, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji.
【２】苦手なお題が提示されたり、時間が余った時のために、自分の得意分野を準備しておく。
例えば、地元の富士山についてはなんでも答えられるようにしておく。

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan with a height of 3,776 meters.
And its almost perfect cone shape is world-famous for its beauty and the mountain is a symbol of Japan.

There are beautiful five lakes around the mountain and the upside-down Mt. Fuji reflected in Motosuko lake is designed on the reverse side of 1,000 yen banknote.
【３】通訳のメモは固有名詞と数字にとどめ、ビジュアル化する。
【４】マイナス思考にならず、試験中の1つや2つのミスは気にしない。最後まで熱意とやる気を見せ、絶対にあきらめない！
