日経平均 バブル後安値 終値7162円 銀行株が急落 26年ぶり水準 円独歩高 企業業績に懸念

Disturbance in the world finacial and securities markets never ceases. On the October 27 Tokyo Stock Exchange, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average plunged under the 7,607 yen, which has been the lowest in the period after the collapse of asset-inflated bubble economy marked in April, 2003. But the stock average index on the day closed at 7162 yen, marking the new lowest record in the after-bubble-economy period, also meaning the lowest in 26 years. This sharp decline is mainly because many banking stocks plunged suddenly.

Another concern is that only yen is being appreciated in the foreign exchange markets in the world. Many are worried that it will negatively affect the business performance, especially export-oriented businesses'.
