Yogaインストラクターのお友達からメールが送られてきました。Yogaマットをハイチに寄付するプロジェクトに参加していて、協力して欲しいとのこと。現地の病院でベッド代わりに使われるのだそうです。
早速、レッスンに参加してくれた方に声をかけてみたところ、寄付してくださる方も何人かいて、少しずつ集まってきています。このお友達はきっと、ダラス/フォートワース地区にいる知り合いのインストラクター全員に声をかけていると思うので、全体では結構な数のYogaマットが集まるのではと思います。
ブログを読んでくださっている方で、もしも不要なYogaマットを寄付できる方がいたら、私までお知らせください。Yogaマットは中古のもので大丈夫です。ダラス/フォートワース地区にお住まいの方が対象です。

Hello everyone,
I recently became aware of the need for our yoga mats in a yoga conference in San Francisco. They were asking us to donate our mats so they can send it to Haiti to be used as hospital beds or for people to sleep on. They were able to collect around 300+ mats to send there but they still need more mats.
I would love to participate and get your help for this great cause. I will be collecting used yoga mats to be donated as well. I will be working with the help of a non profit organization that will be able to ship the mats along with some other donations that are being collected here in the DFW area.
Let's make a difference and unite our efforts to help those in need. Some of you might be able to collect some of the mats in your studio or facility and I can come by to pick them up. We only have few weeks to collect them since I just received the email regarding the opportunity to ship the mats we get. Please let me know if you are able to help!
