大東亜共栄圏の真偽

　アメリカが太平洋戦争と言った戦争を、日本は大東亜戦争と呼んでいた。この理由は、日本が東アジアを欧米の支配から開放して、大東亜共栄圏なるものを創ろうとした事から、日本が大東亜戦争と呼称する事にしたからである。
　この大東亜共栄圏は今のEUの母体となった汎ヨーロッパ主義を主張したリヒャルト・クーデンホーフ＝カレルギーに繋がっている。

　彼は、日本で生まれ母は日本人である。彼は汎ヨーロッパ主義のアジア版である汎アジア主義も提唱しており、大東亜共栄圏はここにルーツがあると言われている。
　大東亜共栄圏は日本の敗戦と共に夢と消えたが、汎アジア主義自体は脈々と生きているようだ。

　日本は無条件降伏をしたので、アメリカに従う外は無かったのであるが、汎アジアの構想自体は良い事であるに違いない。アジアの国々を欧米の植民地という立場から開放し、対等の立場で共栄するのなら良かったのであるが、共栄からいつの間にか支配者の立場に変わってしまった事が多いに悔やまれる。
　日本がアジアの支配者として君臨する事を目指した者が多かっただろうが、純粋に共栄を夢みていた人達もいたに違いない。スローガンにある共栄は「真」であったが、共栄を支配に読み替えた軍閥が「偽」であったということだろう。

　一口に国論というが、百人百様であり、大東亜共栄圏の全てが誤りだったとするのは行き過ぎであろう。
　今は欧米追随一色で、日本人は恰も敗戦以降思考を停止してしまったかのようである。大東亜共栄圏という汎アジアの思想が語られる事が無くなったようだ。

The truth or falsehood of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere
　What the United States called the Pacific War was called the Greater East Asian War by Japan. The reason for this is that Japan decided to call it the Greater East Asia War because it wanted to liberate East Asia from Western domination and create something called the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere.
　This Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is connected to Richard Coudenhove-Kalergie, who advocated pan-Europeanism, which became the base of the current EU.

　He was born in Japan and his mother is Japanese. He also advocated pan-Asianism, the Asian version of pan-Europeanism, and it is said that the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere has its roots here.
　The Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere disappeared with Japan's defeat in the war, but Pan-Asianism itself seems to be alive and well.

　Since Japan surrendered unconditionally, it had no choice but to obey the United States, but the pan-Asian concept itself must be a good thing. It would have been better if the countries of Asia were liberated from their status as colonies of the West and co-prospered on an equal footing. However, it is very regrettable that have changed from co-prosperity to the position of ruler without realizing it.
　Many people would have aimed for Japan to reign as the ruler of Asia, but there must have been others who purely dreamed of co-prosperity. I guess that the co-prosperity in the slogan was "true," but the warlords who read co-prosperity as domination were "false."

　It is an overstatement to say that there are 100 people and 100 different opinions, and that the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is all wrong.
　It seems as if the Japanese have stopped thinking after the defeat in the war. It seems that it is a few cases that the pan-Asian idea of the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is talked.
