海洋堂の製品なので、リアルに作られています。
説明書がついていました。

This telescope was imported from the UK to Japan in early Meiji Era as the first orthodox astronomical telescope. It was made by Troughton & Simms Ltd., a major scientific and opical instruments company of England. It was initially placed in the observatory of the Geographical Bureau of the Department of the Interior. Later, it was moved to The Tokyo Astronomical Observatory and was used for astronomical observations and education for a long time. This telescope is a refracting type with an objective lens of 20cm aperture and a mounting of the German equatorial type. The tube and frame are made of cast iron, and the moving parts are made of brass. It was nicknamed the "Troughton Telescope" for short.

口径20cm、筒の長さが276cmらしいのでFは14くらいでしょうか。
ちなみに監修・解説は国立科学博物館の西城先生でした。
