西郷隆盛と大久保利通
Takamori Saigo and Toshimichi Ohkubo:

西郷隆盛の「志」や「誠」だけでは、経営はできない。一方、大久保利通の「合理」や「論理」だけでは、人心を掌握し、集団をまとめていくことはできない。
You could not run a business only with principles of "desire" and "sincerity" Takamori Saigo advocated. On the other hand, only with principles of " rationality" and "logic," cannot you grasp people's minds and organize and lead the group.

明治維新を成し遂げた、この二人の歴史的人物から、温情と非情、大胆と細心というように、両極端を同時に併せ持たなければ、新たに物事を成し遂げることはできないということを私は学んだ。
I learned that you could not achieve a new thing without having contracting two extremes, like warmth and cold-heartedness or boldness and carefulness, from these two historical figures who contributed to accomplishing the Meiji Restoration.

苦難もまたよし順調ならさらによし。いずれのときも安易に流されず凡に堕さず人一倍の働きを重ねたい。（働く姿勢）（松下幸之助の言葉から）
Hardship also is good, but if it goes well, it's even better. In any case, you should not be flown easily and be degraded to be common. You should continue working much more and harder than anybody else. (Your working style)

The path to success is enduring things. But you should not be obstinate. Flexibility that you can always respond to others is needed on the other hand. (The path to success)
