液晶パネル ソニー、シャープから調達 「サムスン依存」から転換 薄型テレビ、再編加速
According to sources,Sony Corporation has entered the final negotiation stage with Sharp Corporation in the direction that it will procure the liquid crystal panel for the flat-panel TVs,starting in the fiscal 2008.Currently, Sony is purchasing the component from its joint venture company established with Samsung Electronics in South Korea, but in the midst of the surging demand for the flat-panel television set worldwide,it has decided to change its policy(startegy).By expanding the source of supplying the company with the key material,it intends to secure the quantity necessary and get the cost reduction. Through this deal of Sony and Sharp's having an allinace with each other,the alignmanet of the flat panel TV businesses,where fiece competion is going on,will surely accelerate.
