製鉄の省エネ 中印に協力 新日鉄など各社 排出権取得狙う 経産省「ポスト京都」参加促す
It has recently been learned that domestic steel makers,such as Nippon Steel Corporation and JFE Steel Corporation, will launch providing a technological assistance for their rivals in China and India in enegy conservation, in cooperation with the policy of the Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry.Specifically, participating domestic companies will dispatch their engineers to the plants in the two countries and do researches,an then begin to install the energy-saving equipment there.By contributing to developing countries' greenhouse gas emission reduction efforts, they can get the greenhouse gas emission right based on "the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) " decided under the Kyoto Protocol.And also,through this deal,the government wants to urge these two countries to participate in the international energy-saving framework after the Kyoto Protocol expiring in 2012.
