技術流出、新法で防止　軍事特許に非公開制度　経産省方針　漏洩への罰則強化検討

The Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry has stated a study in the direction that it will enact a new law in which comprehensive measures are incorporated,in order to prevent important technology from draining away.The pillar is the introduction of "secret patent system,"where the information of the patent on technologies which are able to be transferred to the military use should be closed.this is the thought that a certain kind of patent should be closed off from foureign countries' governments or corporations,and terrorist organizations,regardless of the principle of patent openness.The ministry is also looking to strengthen the penalties against leaking the information.

設備投資　2ケタ増続く　4年連続　非製造業　14.8%増　電力・運輸けん引　今年度本社調査

According to a survey on corporates' equipment investment in fiscal 2007 conducted and compiled by The Nihon Keizai Shimbun,the combined amount of investment of all industries increased by 11.0% compared with the previous year. Specifically,in the non-manufactiring industries the increase rate was 14.8%, with the transport,electricity power,and real estate industries having played leading role.These total factors eventually, for the first time ,led to the fourth consecutive two-digit figure increase.
