JR須磨駅前の七夕飾り

もう七夕が過ぎてしまって、機を逸した感がありますが、2011年7月7日に撮った
JR須磨駅前の七夕飾りと7月7日の海開きを待つ須磨海岸の写真を紹介します。



上の2枚の写真がJR須磨駅前の七夕飾りです。7月7日の7時前に撮影。
多分、今までもこのような飾りつけあったのだと思いますが、私にとっては
初めてのお目見えです。

七夕は中国の牽牛（けんぎゅう）星と織姫星を祀る年中行事に由来しています。
この2つの星が年に1度7月7日に天の川をはさんで会うとされています。
七夕では笹の葉ににいろいろな願いをを書いて下げるとその願いが叶えられると
信仰されています。
Tanabata(July 7).This is the one day of the year on which,according
to ancient Chinese legend,the Weaver Princess(Vega) and
the Cowherd(Altair)can across the Milky Way that separates them
and renew their love for each other.

Peoples generally celebrate this day by writing wishes in Tanzaku
(a special strip of paper) and Tanzaku are hung on a bamboo branch.
Peoples believe　that　ｗriting wishes or praying will come true.

七夕は五節句の一つです。
五節句は次の通りです。

1月7日　人日（じんじつ）七草粥
3月3日　上巳（じょうみ）ひな祭り
5月5日　端午（たんご）子供の日、菖蒲の節句
7月7日　七夕（たなばた）星祭り
9月9日　重陽（ちょうよう）菊の節句

五節句の制度は明治6年（1873）に廃止されましたが、今でも季節の変わり目の
諸行事が行われ我々の生活の中の風習として根付いています。

Tanabata (七夕?, meaning "Evening of the seventh") is a Japanese star festival, originating from the Chinese Qixi Festival. It celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi (represented by the stars Vega and Altair respectively). According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month of the lunisolar calendar. The date of Tanabata varies by region of the country, but the first festivities begin on July 7 of the Gregorian calendar. The celebration is held at various days between July and August.



上の写真は7月7日の海開きを待つ須磨海岸です。こちらも同じく7時前に撮影。
当日天気も悪く、気温もあまり上昇しまかった為、ひっそりとした海開きになったようです。
