I had a regular fatty liver checkup on 4/22, and my blood sugar and Hba1c values ​​were high, so I went to the eye doctor yesterday at the recommendation of my family doctor.

I was diagnosed with cataracts and the onset of diabetic retinopathy.

I was worried about the vision test when I renew my driver's license in January next year, so I went for it, and I was happy to see the results of 1.0 and 0.8, and to hear the doctor say, "You'll be fine for license renewal." 💪🙏

The rest is up to me, as before. I'm doing my best.

I'm not getting upset by the terrible numbers and the doctor's threats, but I'm brushing them off and living my own life.

I'm surprised at myself for being able to spend my days in a calm and composed state of mind that arises from nowhere, but I'm grateful.

I am humbly grateful for the changes in my physical and mental health that come with age, and like a carp streamer swimming in the clear May sky, I am letting life do its work and being blown by the winds of May.

Today I mowed the grass, took a bath, washed my hair, did the laundry, and then got carried away and planted some watercress seeds. I'm sure they'll produce some watercress around 5/11. 😊😄

May Clear Skies

On April 22nd, I had a regular fatty liver checkup and my blood sugar level was 220 and my Hba1c was 10.3, so I was referred to my family doctor and visited him for the first time in a year. When I told him that my vision had recently become worse, he recommended that I be examined for diabetic retinopathy at an ophthalmology clinic.

Today I went to the eye clinic I had an appointment with on April 22nd and just got home.

I was diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy and was advised to undergo monthly checkups until my Hba1c level, which is an indicator of blood sugar control and whether I can undergo cataract surgery, reaches the 7.0 range.

I'm surprised that I haven't become anxious after being told all this.

Although he was worried about his vision, it remained at 1.0 and 0.8, the level needed to renew his driver's license in January of next year.

That was what made me happiest.

I decided to continue with my treatment calmly, feeling grateful for Noguchi Chiropractic, Casey Therapy, and above all, for being able to receive treatment.

I am deeply grateful that I am alive through the work of providence, and I have vowed to live even deeper.

Being born as a human being on earth and living our life to the fullest means neither being unknown nor famous.

Living our life to the fullest is necessary and beautiful enough.

There are many important realizations in our everyday lives.
