With Haru

2018/1/9This is photo dated January 9, 2018 is of Haru, who will turn 14 in one month.

Haru was born on February 4, 2004, and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on February 18, 2020 at the age of 16 and 2 weeks.

He was smart, long-limbed, and beautiful dog.

He is my mentor and forever idol.

It's almost autumn equinoctial week.

Thank you for always protecting me. I always feel your presence. I'm working hard, thank you.

Haru, me and Biodiversity

Haru,when he was 14 years and 1month 2weeks old.

He is sleeping peacefuly.

Now, TV programs are broadcasting about biodiversity.

In our home on the mountainside, we see wild animals such as deers, monkeys, wild boars, wild birds, snakes, frogs, butterflies, grasshoppers, and bees every day.

They eat persimmons, mandarin oranges, and potted flowers on a daily basis.

Some of the work involves removing giant yellow jacket nests, repairing electric fences destroyed by deers, and clearing ground dug up by wild boars.

Isn't biodiversity and SDGs based on coexistence and co-prosperity with other living things, both positive and negative?

Certainly, we had more damages caused by wild creatures than there were when Haru was there, so it was such a hot summer.

　This year too, the white flowers of the Mukuge tree bloomed in the house next door where no one lives.

This flower is the national flower of the Republic of Korea.

I have seen this flower everywhere since I was a child.

A flower that now accompanies the melody of Arirang.

White clouds and blue sky.

A dignified figure with deep white petals and a red flower core.

It is a flower that makes us feel the strength of the core with its dignified appearance that blooms even in the heat of summer.

Mukuge-san is so beautiful and always inspires us. Your dignified appearance is always our admiration.

Soft evening sky

For the past month, the camera on my smartphone hasn't been very good, and I still can't access the group that posted pictures of the sky and clouds almost every day.
