マイク・マーシャル主演のマカロニウエスタン、「Vendo cara la pelle」の英語の歌が嬉しくって、
何度も何度も聴いているのですが、どうしてもも分からない部分があって、アメリカの友人に聞いて
もらったのですが、英語圏の人にも分かりませんでした（笑）。
すごいイタリアン・イングリッシュで、日本人にとっては分かり安い部分もあるのですが、
部分によっては、さっぱり見当もつかないのです。
なんて歌ってるのかなあ～？
マカロニウエスタンの歌というのは、いかにも！というかっこいいものから、とってもセンチメンタル
なものまで幅が広いではないですか。
私は、かっこいい歌はもちろんのこと、センチメンタルな歌もそれ以上に好きなのです。
この歌もとっても好きです。
だから、どうでもいいような歌詞だとは思うのですが、どうしても知りたいという好奇心が頭をもたげて
しまうのであります。

それから、以前からとっても疑問だった英語タイトルのひとつ、「I'll sell my skin dearly」
ですが、これは、とってもおかしな英語への翻訳タイトルで、スラングでもなんでもないということが
分かりました。
単に「俺の命はべらぼうに高いぜ」みたいな意味だそうです。
いつか近い将来、ノーカットのイタリア版DVDがリリースされることを祈っています。
