Last Tuesday morning, after coming back home from walking my dogs, when I tried to open the entrance door, the key got stuck in the lock, and it broke. Luckily, it happened after I got inside. There were two locks on the door, and the lower one was stuck. I had the key for the upper one. I checked to see if I could use it, but it was hard to turn. I had to run errands, so I unlocked a window just in case the same problem happened. It's still a secret from my husband that I unlocked the window when I left. Finally, my husband called a locksmith in the early evening, and had both locks changed. It was done by 8 p.m. It took him less than 40 minutes to fix the key. He was amazing. I was impressed with his work. It was expensive, but it was worth it.
先週の火曜日の朝、犬の散歩から戻って、玄関のドアを開けようとしたところ、鍵が詰まってしまい、壊れてしまいました。幸運だったのはそれが起きたのは家の中に入った後でした。ドアには2つの鍵穴がついていて詰まったのは下の鍵でした。私は上の鍵を持っていました。上の鍵が使えるか確かめたところ、回りにくかったです。私は出かけるところがあったので玄関のドアが開かなかったときのために念のため一か所の窓を開けて行きました。これは夫には内緒です。結局、夫が夕方帰って来てから鍵屋さんへ電話をして2つの鍵を取り替えてもらいました。それが終わったのは夜8時でした。鍵屋さんは40分以内で作業を終えました。彼は素晴らしかったです。彼の仕事ぶりには感心しました。料金は高かったですが、やってもらった甲斐がありました。
