【間に合う】
I was barely in time for the train.
ぎりぎり電車に間に合った
I was just in time for the train.
ちょうど電車に間に合った
I was barely on time for the last train.
I was barly in time for the last train.
in と on の違いは on の方がぎりぎり（しまっったドアをこじ開けるくらいのぎりぎり）
in の方がやや時間がある(列車に乗ったらドアが閉まるくらい）
I was barely in time to see my friend off at the station.

【乗り遅れる】
I just missed the train.

turn off 止める 動いていたものを止める、スイッチを切る （P.C, rice cooker)
quit（動詞） 終えるの意味が強い (talking,working)
end（動詞） 自然に終わる(もう続かない）
over（形容詞） 自然な終わり (class,game,sale,season,movie)
