万教同根思想の価値　(あらゆる宗教の願いは同一である)

　万教同根は日本の大本教の出口王仁三郎が唱えた言葉である。タイトルに記した通り、あらゆる宗教の願いは同一の筈である。
　ユダヤ教、キリスト教、仏教、イスラム教等、様々な宗教があるが、宗教の願いは必ず同じである。

　しかしながら、古来から宗教は分裂はしても、統一された事は一度も無い。実際に起きている事、起こった事が正しいとするなら、万教同根は理想ではあっても、夢想でしかないという事になる。
　宗教は分裂し続けるが故に、全ての宗教の願いは同じなのだと言う自覚が、より一層重要になるという事なのかも知れない。

　"The aspirations of all religions are the same" is a phrase advocated by Onisaburo Deguchi of Oomoto-kyo in Japan. As mentioned in the title, the wishes of all religions should be the same.
　There are various religions such as Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam, but the wishes of religions are always the same.

　However, even though religions have been divided since ancient times, they have never been unified. If what is actually happening and what has happened is correct, even if "The aspirations of all religions are the same" are an ideal, it is nothing more than a dream.
　Because religions continue to divide, it may become even more important to realize that all religions have the same aspirations.

政治家の分り易さ

　人が日常生活をする上で、自分の意図を相手に正確に伝える事は非常に重要な事である。その重要性は、人の職種、組織内での立場、様々なタイミング等によって異なってくる。
　そんな中で政治家は、分り易さが強く求められる仕事である。

　日本の義務教育では意志疎通のスキルを育成する教育は為されているのだろうか？国会議員の多くは弁護士出身だと思うので、頭脳の方は大丈夫だと思う。しかし、頭の良さとその使い方は別物なので、意志疎通のスキルは非常に重要なチェックポイントだと考える。

　日本は体系的に考える事は余り上手くないので、統治上抑えるべき確認が不得手である様に考えられる。
　議員は選挙で選ばれた「優秀な人物」であるとは限らないので、議員として備えるべきスキルや能力の底上げに取り組むべきであろう。

　It is very important for people to accurately convey their intentions to others in their daily lives.　The importance varies depending on the person's occupation, position within the organization, various timings, and the like.
　In such a situation, being a politician is a job that is strongly required to be easy to understand.

　Is there an education to develop communication skills in Japan's compulsory education? I think many members of the Diet are lawyers, so I think the brains are fine. However, smartness and how to use it are two different things, so I think communication skills are a very important checkpoint.

　Japan is not very good at thinking systematically, so it seems that it is not good at confirmation that should be suppressed in governance.
　Since members of parliament are not necessarily elected “excellent individuals,” efforts should be made to raise the level of skills and abilities that parliamentarians should possess.

日本に民主主義が根付かない理由

　民主主義は政治への関心が高い国民の基では有効な政治制度である。反対に、政治への関心が低い国民の基では、有効に機能しない。日本に於いてはどうだろうか？日本で行われる各種の選挙の投票率を見れば分るであろう。

　選挙の時期になると、投票を促す宣伝カーが街中を走るが、私はそれを見るたびに日本には民主主義が根付いていない事を実感する。
　考えてみれば、民主主義は国民の意見を政府に反映させようとするものである。言わば下意上達を目標とするものである。

　一方、日本では「長い物には巻かれろ」や「泣く子と地頭には勝てぬ」といった諺が有る様に、上意下達型の政治行動が良いと看做されている。

　この上意下達型の統治スタイルは、わが国の産業が振るわない原因にもなっている。上意下達型であるということは、権限委譲が充分に為しえない事を意味し、欧米人が日本の問題として指摘する「パワー改革が必要だ」と言う事と繋がっている。

　しかも、現代社会は変化の激しい時代なので、権限委譲が下部組織に為されないと言うことは、意志決定が遅れる事に繋がっていく。その結果、経営環境の変化に充分に対応出来ない企業が増えているのであろう。

Why democracy doesn't take root in Japan
　Democracy is an effective political system for people who are highly interested in politics. Conversely, it does not work effectively for citizens who have little interest in politics. What about Japan? You can see this by looking at voter turnout in various elections held in Japan.

　When election season arrives, sound trucks urging people to vote drive through the streets, and every time I see them, I realize that democracy has not taken root in Japan.
　If you think about it, democracy tries to make the government reflect the opinions of the people. In other words, the goal is conveyance of the views of those below to those at the top.

　On the other hand, in Japan, top-down political action is considered good, as there are proverbs such as "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" or "You can't win against a crying child and a Jito'.

　This top-down style of governance is one of the reasons why our country's industry is not doing well. Being a top-down system means that authority cannot be delegated sufficiently, and it is connected to what Westerners point out as a problem in Japan, "power reform is necessary."

　Moreover, modern society is an age of rapid change, so not delegating authority to subordinate organizations leads to delays in decision making. As a result, an increasing number of companies are unable to adequately respond to changes in the business environment.
