高騰する損害保険

　家の火災保険の満期が来て再契約する事になった。保険会社からの案内には、再契約の際には保険料が値上がりすると書いてあった。
　そこで考えた。最近では100年に一度の水害や雪害が増えて保険会社では保険料の見直しを進めているのだろう。
　極端な想像かも知れないが、予想外の大規模災害が発生して、倒産する保険会社が出るかも知れない。温暖化問題を解決するためには、地球レベルの強力なガバナンスによる強力な対応が必要だが、それが出来ない結果の一つが損害保険料の値上がりとは…。

Soaring Property Insurance Prices
　The fire insurance for my house has expired and I need to renew it. The notice from the insurance company said that the premiums would go up when I renew the contract.
　So I thought, "Once-in-a-century floods and snow damages have been increasing recently, do insurance companies must be reviewing their premiums."
　This may be an extreme scenario, but an unexpected large-scale disaster could occur and cause insurance companies to go bankrupt. In order to solve the problem of global warming, strong measures based on strong governance at the global level are necessary, but one of the consequences of not being able to do so could be an increase in non-life insurance premiums.
