人類に於ける信義

　現世人類が最後の氷河期を生き抜いたのは、高いコミュニケーション能力を持っていたからだという説がある。肉体的にはネアンデルタール人の方が優れていたが、コミュニケーション能力によって現世人類は協力し合い、知恵を出し合って生きる術を磨く事が出来たのである。

　これは表現を変えると、コミュニケーション能力による組織化による成功であったとも言えるだろう。この能力は、信義を大前提としているのは当然である。人類のあらゆる組織に於いて、信義原則が守られなければ、組織のパフォーマンスは棄損する。企業であれ、政府であれ、国際社会であれ、如何なる組織においても、信義が土台となっているのである。

　古代中国の孔子は、政治において最も重要な事は信義であると言ったが、その通りである。この信義を平気で破る国がある。それはロシアと中国である。ロシア連邦政府は、組織の前提である信義を自ら棄損したので、今後自然と自壊の道を歩むだろう。また、中国も香港に関する英国との約束を破ってしまった。自国の信用を棄損してしまったのである。

Faith In Humanity
　There is a theory that Homo sapiens survived the last ice age because they had high communication skills. Physically, the Neanderthals were superior, but our ability to communicate allowed Homo sapiens to work together, pool their wisdom, and hone their way of life.

　In other words, it could be said that this success was achieved by organizing through communication skills. Naturally, this ability is based absolutely on the premise of faith. In any organization of mankind, if the principle of good faith is not followed, the performance of the organization will be damaged. Good faith is the foundation of any organization, whether it is a business, a government, or the international community.

　Confucius of ancient China said that the most important thing in politics is good faith, and that is right. There are countries that break this good faith without hesitation. They are Russia and China. Because the Russian Federation government has damaged oneself the good faith that is the premise of the organization, it will naturally follow the path of self-destruction in the future. China has also broken its pact with Britain on Hong Kong. It has damaged the credibility of its own country.

イスラム教では女性がスカーフの付け方で道徳警察に殺された？

　日本人には、スカーフを義務付ける事も、道徳警察という言葉も奇異に思われるに違いない。昔は別にして、現代日本人は宗教的な拘りを持っていないと思うので、スカーフや道徳警察も受け入れる事が可能かも知れない。

　しかしながら、スカーフの付け方という些細な事で、宗教団体に近い道徳警察が、殺人を犯すという事になれば、到底受け入れる事は出来ないだろう。しかも、これが発端となり、イラン全国でデモが起き死者が数十人も出ているという。

　イスラム教には様々な宗派があり、キリスト教にもユダヤ教にも様々な宗派がある。また、宗派の中にも様々な宗教団体があり、様々な教えの亜流がある。
　そして、宗教団体の中では深い信仰の故に、教えを絶対と考えその絶対から逸脱する者、逸脱しようとする者を悪と看做す者が存在する。

　昔の例で言えば、ユダヤ教ではキリストをローマ帝国の反逆者として訴えてキリストは十字架刑に処せられた。ユダヤ教の僧侶達にはキリストは殺したいほど邪魔だったのである。また、キリスト教がローマの国教となって勢力を拡大し強化すると、キリスト教以外の宗教を許せないキュリロスという聖職者が、無残な殺人事件を起こしている。 彼は、アレクサンドリアで学校長を務めていた女性の科学者であったヒュパティアを、貝殻で身を削ぎ落として殺したのである。理由は、彼女がキリスト教を信じず、異教徒であったからである。

　このように宗教の聖職者が、信者を不幸に追い込む例は無数にあったし、現代に於いても無数に有るだろう。

　自身と他者を幸福に導くという宗教の最大の目的は一体全体どこにいったのであろうか？善良である筈の宗教に於いても、過ぎたるは及ばざるが如しである。程々、中庸が一番であろう。

　For Japanese people, the compulsory wearing of scarves and the term moral police must seem strange. Aside from the old days, I don't think modern Japanese people have religious preoccupations, so it might be possible to accept scarves and the moral police.

　However, it would be unacceptable if the moral police, who are close to a religious organization, were to commit murder over something as trivial as how to wear a scarf. Moreover, it is said that this triggered demonstrations across Iran and dozens of people died.

　There are various denominations in Islam, and there are various denominations in Christianity and Judaism. In addition, there are various religious groups within sects, and there are various derivations of teachings.
　And within religious organizations, there are those who believe that the teachings are absolute and because of their deep faith, and those who regard those who deviate from that absolute or try to deviate as evil.

　As ancient example, Judaism accused Christ of being a traitor to the Roman Empire and crucified him. For the Jewish priests, Christ was a hindrance to the point of wanting to kill him. In addition, when Christianity became the state religion of Rome and expanded and strengthened its power, a priest named Cyril, who cannot tolerate any religion other than Christianity, has committed a tragic murder. He killed Hypatia, a female scientist who was head of the school at Alexandria, by shaving her body off with  shell. The reason was that she did not believe in Christianity and was a heathen.

　In this way, there were countless examples of religious clerics driving believers into misfortune, and there are countless even today.

It isn't the ultimate goal of religion to lead oneself and others to happiness? Even in religion, which is supposed to be good, we should remind "More than enough is too much". Moderation or medium would be best.
