「正論」2月号、P234～の西尾幹二氏と福井義高氏の対談に現代ロシア史研究者リチャード・スペンス教授（アイダホ大）の論文に言及される部分が出てくる。トロツキーの革命直前のロシア帰国に関しても、イギリス諜報機関の暗躍があったという説が出ているらしい。
Richard B. Spence氏をちょっと調べてみた。氏がイギリス諜報機関に関連する人物として取り上げているのは、他でもないかのAleister Crowleyであった。

Aleister Crowleyスパイ論は興味深いエピソード満載のようだ。

所謂金融資本家たち（ロックフェラーやロスチャイルド）や
ウォール街を代表する企業家たちや政治家たちが
ロシア革命やナチスドイツの台頭を陰で支援し、
さらに二つの世界大戦を誘導していた
という話は所謂陰謀論のメインテーマである。
従って、今回のイギリス情報機関がトロツキーの背後で
暗躍していたということ自体は、全く驚くことではない。
そう言えばレーニンがスイスにいたアメリカの諜報員Allen Dullesの
ところに面会に来たという話も思い出した。

彼自身の音声で聞いた記憶がある。

力強い声をとても聴きたくなった。話し方が明るく
その上話し上手だ。Dullesは完全にあちら側のひとで
Kennedyはこちら側のひとだったようだ。

そうそう今回Aleister Crowleyがルシタニア号事件に
関わっていたということがわかったので
ルシタニア号もアリゾナ同様の運命だったことが
明らかになった、と重ねてみていいだろう。

福井義高氏の言及された論文は両方かまたは
どちらかの書籍に活用されているのだろう。

福井義高氏は「正論」2月号で具体的に彼ら超大物スパイ達の名前を出さないで
なぜイギリス諜報機関の暗躍と発言されたのだろうか？
Aleister CrowleyやSidney ReillyなどRichard B. Spence氏
のように具体的に名前を出すと、対談の意図から大きくはみ出す
全く別の複雑極まりない展開に飛躍してしまうからだろうか。
