バンクーバーに４店舗あるMisako's Hair Studioのリッチモンド店。
スタイリストとして活躍する、小柄な身体で元気いっぱい、笑顔のたえない、
気配り上手のリッチモンド店のマスコット的存在の美容師、Hitomi

　　美容師になったきっかけはなんですか?　
小さい頃から人の髪をいじるのが好きでした。
思えば七五三直前の友達の前髪をばっさりきっちゃったのが、はじまりかも．．．
自然と美容師になることを選んでいました。

　　美容師として心がけていることはありますか?　
お客さまの悩みを一つでも解決して、HAPPYになってもらえたら、と思っています。

　　カナダにきたきっかけはなんですか?　
自分の知らないものや知らない場所への興味が強く、
好奇心でここまで来てしまいました。
一言でいえばノリと勢い！

　　日本で働いていた時との違いを感じますか?　
日本ではどうしても仕事にしばられる時間が長く、
プライベートがあまり充実していませんでした。
ここでは、のんびり働くことができ、心のゆとりがうまれたと思います。

　　カナダで働いていてびっくりしたことはありますか?　
日本人は比較的若くみられがちだけども．．．
私はいつも子供にみらてしまいます。
みなさん、安心しておまかせください。

　　好きなスタイルはなんですか？　
いつでも綺麗でいられるように、
自分でお手入れのしやすい再現性のあるスタイルを心掛けています。
ヘアスタイルだけではなく、普段のMake-upの事なども、お気軽にご相談ください。

　　バンクーバーのおすすめは何ですか？　
この夏グラウスマウンテンに登りました。
正直甘くみていて、想像していた以上に辛く、厳しいものでした。
でも頂上でのビールの美味しいこと！夜景の綺麗なこと！
グラウスに登った際は、頂上のBarでビールと夜景を楽しんでから下山してください。
私は来年も挑戦します。

　Why did you decide to become a hair stylist?　
Since when I was small I liked to play around with other peoples hair.
It all started when I was around 7 when I cut off a whole chunk of my friend’s hair.
I believe I naturally became a stylist.

　Do you have anything you would like to achieve after becoming a stylist?　
I want my customers to be satisfied and leave with big smiles on their faces.

　What is the reason you came to Canada?　
I wanted to explore and new things
I didn’t know about and this is where I end up now.
To put it simple I just flowed along!

　Do you feel anything different working from Japan to Canada?　
In Japan the working hours are so long that I didn’t have any leisure time.
Here I can work with more freedom and I believe I have grown a costume in this nation

　Are you surprised by anything after working in Canada?　
People say Japanese people look old and mature
but everyone here see me as a child.
Please forget about my ways and treat me as an adult!

　What is your favorite style?　
I try my best to stay pretty and clean all the time.
Not only hair style but I wish too stay looking my best with make up and fashion.

What is “in” in Vancouver right now?　
This summer I went to hike the grouse mountain.
It was very hard and tiring but the beer at the top was very delicious!
Also the scenery was splendid!
When you do clime grouse mountain
please go to the bar and enjoy yourself first before going down.
I will challenge the hike again in the near future.
