美容師になったきっかけはなんですか?
子供の頃から友達の髪の毛を結うのが大好きで、高校生のときに美容師になろうと決意しました。
デザインを作るのが大好きで、サロンワークはもちろん、
コンテストや作品撮りなど、物作りが出来るこの仕事がとても気に入っています。
美容師として心がけていることはありますか?
お客様にゆったりとした時間を過ごしていただけるように、技術と接客に気をつかっています。
日本でメイクスクールも卒業し、雑誌なども担当していたので、
メイクやヘアアレンジのことならなんでもお尋ねください。
日本で働いていた時との違いを感じますか?
日本ではサロンワークの他に、講師としてなど外部の仕事があり、休みがありませんでした。
カナダではプライベートが充実させれるくらい、しっかり休みがとれています。
世界中のお客様が担当でき、技術の幅も広がるし、
本当にいい経験ができています。
カナダで働いていて驚いたことはありますか?
お客様の希望するスタイルが日本とは違うこと。
美の感覚って、生まれ育った環境でこんなにも違うんだな、とびっくりすることもありますが
自分の美容の幅が広がってとても嬉しいです。
好きなスタイルはなんですか？
上品がスタイルが得意です。
セット・メイク・着付け・まつげカールなどが出来るので、
トータルコーディネートを提案させていただきます。
バンクーバーのおすすめは何ですか？
うに・いくら・まつたけなどが思う存分食べれること！
夏は日が長いので、ずっと夜まで楽しめます。

Has the brightness and laughs to brighten the atmosphere and a hardworking attitude that wouldn’t lose to anyone.
It is fun working with her and all of the staff easily takes her in as one of them.
Why did you decide to become a hair stylist?
Since when I was small I loved to play around with with my friend’s hair.
During highschool I made a commitment to myself too become a stylist when I grow up.
I like to invent and design so this job was perfectly suited for me.
As a stylist what do u put your heart and soul in too
To have a fun and heart warming time with me.
Since I graduated from Japan’s stylist school and
I was in charge of fashion catalogs please feel free to come to me for help with make up or hair arrangement.
Do you feel anything different working from Japan to Canada?
In Japan I had multiple jobs other then as a stylist so I did not have much time to rest.
In Canada I have plenty of leisure time and too much sleeping time.
Now I can please customers from all over the world and learn many new things.
This has been a wonderful experience so far.
Are you surprised by anything after working in Canada?
The styles that the customers ask for are totally different from the ones in Japan.
I am surprised how different everything is here compared to the nation I grew up in
but I am truly happy my experience as a stylist has grown.
What is your favorite style?
I am very skillful with feminine styles.
Setting, make ups, eyebrow curling and many more so I have confidence in that.
What is “in” in Vancouver right now?
The fact that I can eat sea urchins, salmon eggs, Also Japanese mushrooms all I want.
Also the fact that during summer the days are so long so I can stay out longer.
