ウィーン国立バレエ団のヌレエフ・ガラ

2020年6月25日、ルドルフ・ヌレエフに任命されたオペラ座のエトワールとして23年の長きに渡り
シルヴィ・ギエム、ローラン・イレールらとバレエ界の中心で活躍、オペラ座引退の2009年の翌年、2010年9月から、
ウィーン国立バレエ団の芸術監督として次なるステップを歩んできたマニュエル・ルグリが、その地ウィーンを離れることとなった。
次のキャリアはミラノ・スカラ座バレエ団の指導者として、と報じられているが、
ウィーンで、10年近く手塩にかけてきたバレエ団の集大成が、毎年、ウィーンのバレエ通に親しまれてきた「ヌレエフ・ガラ」であり、ルグリ最後の仕事となった。
ウィーン国立バレエ団が6月25日、日本時間で21時から24時間、ヌレエフガラの過去映像も含めてのBest　of Nureyev GALAとでもいうべき素晴らしい映像を、無料でストリーミング公開してくれていたので、早速視聴した。
橋本清香、木本全優ら、日本人バレエダンサーもプリンシパルとして活躍し、また、ルグリの国際的な名声とコネクションを感じさせる絢爛豪華なゲストダンサーのパフォーマンス、また、パリ時代の長年のパートナーであったイザベル・ゲラン、そしてオーレリ・デュポンとのPDDなど、ルグリ本人のパフォーマンスも見られ、彼がオペラ座引退後に過ごした濃密・かつ上質な舞台の時間を感じるに余りあるものだった。
