あれ、Jeff Bezosって、どこかで聞いたことがあるな。そうだ民間人で、初の商用ロケットで初めて宇宙に行った初の人だ。（初ばっかりやな）YouTubeで、その様子を見たぞ。自分の紹介として、Amazonの創設者、元CEO、投資家、慈善家となっている。
だいたい英文のメールは迷惑メールが98％を占めるのだが、アマチュア無線関係と米国などへ直接物を注文した場合のやりとりの際、ごくまれに重要なものが混じるので、一応ざっと目を通すことにしている。一度、コンチネンタル航空（現ユナイテッド航空）の海外便特典航空券を申し込んだ時、Eメールチケットが来たのだが、英語だったため読まずに消してしまって、後々面倒くさいことになったことがある。（結局やり取りの末、再発行してもらいました）
これも、ざっと読んだところ、ランダムに選んだ世界中のメールアドレスの中で、あなたが選ばれたので750万ドルあげることにした。ついては、名前や住所などの情報を返信してほしいとのこと。前後に、いろいろな修飾文がついてる感じかな。
あー、あれだ。日本語の迷惑メールでも、「あなたが高額くじに当選しました」とか「あなたに、〇〇千万円あげたい」とか「節税のため、お金を貰って下さい」とかいうやつだ。その英語版ということですね。
一応、送信元アドレスを見てみましょう。Jeff Bezosさんのメールが、無料のgmaiということはないでしょう。
