愛媛県、南部で博覧会 来年３月から 各地でイベント
Ehime prefectural government has decided and announced its plan of implementing an exposition in the sourthen parts of the prefecture starting in spring next year and lasting for seven months. The exposion is what will be held in the prefecture's sourthen parts for the first time in four years, and this grand initiative is dubbed as "the Nanyo Exposition 2016 for healing yourself in Ehime," or "Ehime Iyashi-no Nanyo Haku 2016."
According to the prefecture, the venues will be at the places in 10 municipalities like Uwajima, Yawatahama and Uchiko,with the period being from March 26 through November 20. Under a catchphrase" Let's take a rest in a countryside, communicating with people there, which is a healing travel for you in Nnyo regions," local governments and their related organizatioins are expected to host a variety of events,such as enjoying eating sweets made of citrus fruits produced there while cruising in the sea of Uwa, cycling as long as about 100km in the region, and having events of food or outdoor activities.
They aim to get as many as 8 million tourists to vist the regions in 2016, which is up 760,000 compared to in 2014.
