高い目標を掲げ達成する：
To set up a high goal and attain it:

高い目標を掲げながら、あまりにその道のりが遠ければ、目標自体を断念してしまう。
Although you set up a high goal, you may have to give up its goal because the way to the goal is too far.

眼前の一日しか見えなくていい、今日一日を懸命に努める。その一日は尺取り虫みたいな歩みだが、気がつけば思いも寄らないところにまで到達しているものだ。
There is a way of thought , that is, it's okay to see a day in front of you. And for that one day today, you should make efforts. Such a day would be a small step like that done by a small bug. It is likely that you can reach a higher place than you expected, before knowing it.

No matter who you are a manufacturer, a wholesaler, or a retailer, as far as you are in charge of running a business, the basic mission as a businesspeople is no change, the same with each other. (mission of businesspeople)

The bamboo is strong because it has joints. We also should sometimes make some turning points in our life in order to review our past life and nurture the ability for getting over possible hardships in our life. (turning points in our life)
