Hedges

I have been living in a marginal village for the past 24 years for some reason. In March, the widow living below me passed away, and the houses above and below my house are now vacant.

I'm also concerned about the collapse of old stonework on the boundary with the house above, presumably built by above family two generations ago, and are now also having to deal with blow house’s hedges which have grown out of control over the past three years because there is no one to maintain them.

Fed up with the old system, he quit the neighborhood association two years ago, but because of things like taking out the trash and using the shared antenna, he still pays neighborhood association fees and antenna fees at the monthly collection meetings, which also serve as proof of his survival.

I asked a man in his 60s who is the team leader to cut down the hedges, which I couldn't do myself, for a fee.

It feels like an ambiguous situation where no one knows whether we can trust it or what will happen, but we just have to believe that it will come to fruition. I'll do my best! lol😅😄💪😊

When the cherry blossoms bloom...

This year, Shimonoseki City's cherry blossoms were declared to have bloomed on March 26th.

Graduation & Enrollment

The sisters have been studying phonics since they were 5 and 4 years old, aiming for a soft landing in junior high school English and self-study English, and the older sister will be going to junior high school this spring. Yesterday was the last lesson with her.

At the end of the lesson, the child read me a letter in which he had thought up the material, written it in English, and memorized it.

A fast runner and blessed with a talent for calligraphy, the 12-year-old's current dream is to become a calligrapher like Shishu and hold a solo exhibition.

I was impressed by the growth over the course of seven years of this ordinary child, who was not blessed with any special talent for English.

He said he will continue imputing for 2000 hours. I feel very confident about it. I was very happy.

Camellia

Yesterday, I went to check on the condition of the dumping ground of my neighbor above where I dump stones and pieces of tile that come off during my annual Golden Week mowing.

For the first time, I saw the magnificent sight on the opposite side of the camellia that I usually see.

I was left breathless by the camellia screen, covered in flowers, and more flowers.

The number and volume of flowers was something I'd never seen before from the outside. I was so overwhelmed by the sight that I went back to get my camera.

It gave me energy.

Damage caused by deer

Yesterday, the cherry blossoms were declared to have bloomed in the area where I live.

Now that it's warmer, I've started watering my potted plants again.

23 years ago, due to various circumstances, I left the convenient city where I was used to living and now live in the mountains, where deer and wild boars have invaded my property and the violets that began to bloom the day before yesterday were gone by yesterday morning, eaten by the deer.

Although flowers bloom in spring, it also increases the damage caused by the intrusion of deer and wild boars.

The four seasons have passed again this year, and spring has certainly arrived.🎊🌱😅😁
